Have been at this location several times waiting for an item that has been out of stock. I am in desperate need of multivitamins and decided to go with another product. The clerk would not accept my $20 GNC coupon that expired 7 days ago. It’s not my fault that the store has not had the product I need within the date range I had to use the coupon. Terrible customer service, Will purchase my product on Amazon going forward.

I have been going to GNC regularly for the past couple years, but that will change after tonight. My experiences have been very well aside from the one I had on 8/26 at the GNC on Hillsborough. I walked in at 8:55 P.M. to get Serious Mass, I didn’t think it would be such a burden to the employee. As I walked through the door I said hello, and the employee (his name was Matt) looked at me and said nothing. I figured he was upset that I came in 5 minutes before they closed so I didn’t let it bother me and shrugged it off. But as I was checking out, I asked him how he was doing and he didn’t say a word or look at me. Just had an irritated look on his face. He would not even tell me how much it was. I am just disappointed because GNC’s products and employees have always exceeded expectation.

I went in to buy some alani nu products because they were buy one get one 50%. I assumed all the products were included in this sale, since the email said mix and match but after checking out the guy at the front told me it has to be the same products (as in 2 proteins or 2 Pre work outs) and not mix and match, fine I understood no problem. So I purchased the alani nu pre work out and protein powder totaling $90. Then, when I get in my car I realize I had received a $10 off coupon through my email and another 25% off any item coupon for world Health day. I walk back in and Gabe told me he wouldn’t be able to apply the coupons. Even though all he had to do was process a return on my original purchase and re ring them up using my coupons. He told me he was the manager and that when I come back he’ll give me 50% off, when all I wanted was to use the coupons I already had on the products I was purchasing that day. Fast forward I repurchased the same products online and applied the coupons I had and had a savings of over $30! I ended up going back into the store to return the protein cause I didn’t like the flavor and Gabe was at the front desk again. I tell him I wanted to do an online return and he told me he wouldn’t be able to. Said I had to call customer service and request “permission” first since it was an online order, even though that isn’t stated anywhere online nor on the packing slip. So I told him I would call now and he said only a manager would able to do the refund anyways so to comeback another day.. but last time I was there he told me he was the manager? Both times I’ve came in my experiences have been fustrating and I will not be coming back to this location

Rushed from house to get there before they closed to purchase some protein mix. Got there 15 minutes before close and they just locked up and left.

This is absolutely unacceptable. You have employees working in a 100 degree store Ive been coming every so often the last 2 or 3 weeks and it's never been fixed this is wrong. Not to mention potential damage to products being stored at incorrect temperatures.

Michael was the true definition of what helpful salesmanship should be. He offered suggestions, wasn't pushy, knew his product, was VERY informative, and was VERY VERY VERY personable. Me having a loooooong history in sales... I would suggest companies use this gentleman and scholar to their advantage and have him train and direct their sales staff.

Mike and Shawn were absolutely superb when it comes to customer service. Extremely knowledgeable in aspects of nutrition - friendly and don't push like other vitamin stores. Will return soon!
