Do not take your laptop to these people. They claim they fix your laptop for it to work for one day and have numerous other issues pop up after they “fix” it and when you come back to have it looked at they refuse to talk to you unless you’re on their mandatory appointment even if they’re just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Took my computer in for a battery issue upon receiving it back the speakers no longer worked and files were corrupted and fan no longer worked. Some of the worst tech support online and just very unhelpful. Do not waste your money on geek squad.

I called the main Geek Squad line to ask if they did keyboard cover replacements and the rep said yes, so I made an appointment. I already purchased the part as well prior to my call. Upon arriving and checking in for my appointment, I asked about how long it would take, thinking it was an easy fix. The rep looked it up and said about 2 weeks! Apparently these people cannot handle computer repairs on site and send them out for the work. I thought he was kidding - nope. His answer was: it's a busy time of year and people are in front of you. This is my work laptop and I cannot be without it for that long. Packed up and left. After another stop at You Break it, We fix it and hearing the same reply I continued my search. My research led to me to just the right guy and place - Computer Solutions Tampa, 504 E Paris St, Tampa. Call for an appointment.Troy was able to work me in the next morning. The job was more involved than I thought but I would be without my laptop for only 2 days. This is a legitimate computer repair shop with knowledgeable and efficient people. Do not wasted your time at these big box places as they are a joke.

Rating is for the geek squad employee. He actually looked at the laptop; which I appreciated since Ubreakifix literally didn’t care to even check it out. He was honest about the cost of a battery and having Best Buy ship it out for repair, upfront about cost and wait time. I appreciate he actually took the time to diagnose.

I own a computer repair store. Every time I hear about Geek Squad, people are telling me how GS lied to them and took their money to tell them some fluff and not fix their computer.I have said it before and I will say it now. GS employees are the same as McDonald’s workers. Please take your computer to one of the many awesome repair shops in town.

We had a wifi network failure due to a nearby lightning strike. It took out key components and just wrecked havoc. Jason came to the rescue. In a single visit he restored our network by restoring some devices and replacing others that were toast. I couldn't be happier.

Geek squad is usually very efficient and helpful, however I checked availability of parts and was re assured that if I drove across town that they would have them, alas they didn't even look at the stock on the shelves and they couldn't help me. A simple check on the parts would have saved me time and gas.

This place is a joke lol. I walked around for an hour in every department and no one even said hi to me. I was specifically looking for car audio. List of things I've bought from Best Buy: Multiple MacBooks Game councils 2.1 Martin Logan esl A few full frame cameras (Nikons, Sonys) Projectors TVs Computer monitors I'll just shop on Amazon and continue browsing

Zero! what a terrible experience. I've been here several times because it's close, but I'd drive anyplace else in order to get help. The employees are not only bored and hate their job, they are not knowledgeable and d**** They could replace everyone there with self service kiosks and double their profits. I had 2k to get a new phone but no one helped me, when someone finally showed up, they said they can't sell me a phone without a contract, which I don't need. they employees wouldn't help me find a new 5k Sony camera with lenses because it was 30 minutes until closing time and they wanted to leave instead of help people. I have an account there and easily could have spent 7k that day. Terrible experience. zero out of 5 score.

This best buy is not best to buy stuff, the manager will not help to return stuff that I just missed 15 days, I explained everything but he still insist not to accept my return, I wen the other best buy they accept right away with mu explannation.
