Ariel is literally one of the most wonderful hairstylists! I came here as a kid walking and have and will continue to book with her since! She is not only so talented but also is so careful to give my hair the best attention and care! I get SO many compliments on my hair now because of her work! And it’s never been healthier! So appreciate her work and will continue to praise her work because it always is top notch!

Went in to get highlights done in June. My hair was virgin brown hair, never dyed, and I almost never use heat tools on it. Asked for golden blonde, and ended up with platinum blonde. Completely fried my hair, lost my curl pattern, and now had to resort to chopping my hair short because it is sticky when it’s wet. I’ve spent a disgusting amount of money trying to deal with the mess that this salon made my hair into. I would never recommend going to this location.

Today I visited Fantastic Sam’s and had the pleasure to have Ariel as my hairdresser. I asked her to give me a balayage coloring service before my first day of college. She was so sweet and walked through every step of the process. I was throughly thrilled with the results! I loved the vibrancy of the blonde and how flowy my hair came out at the end! I would definitely recommend going to her as she is very skilled and sweet! Here are the results!

I was excited to get my hair done today. I had an appointment at 1:55 for a Balayage with Ariel. I got in the chair and showed her what I wanted. She stated that it was not gonna work. She can try a stran of hair to see. So I said we could try that. She put something in my hair wrapped it in Foil, she waited not even 10-15 minutes and told me my hair turned red.( Which my hair was red originally when I came in.) Ariel Kept explaining that it would cost more money and it takes a lot of time. I explained to her that wasn't a problem. I don't know if she thought I didn't have the money or what. I guess she was more concerned about getting out of work at five. What made me laugh the most? She gave me her card and said, "Come back when you want to get it done, but I was there (I drove 45 min.), and she wouldn't do it. That's bad business! I ended up getting a wash and trim because it was better for her timing..
Requested style: Balayage was never done because it would take too much time to do it.
Stylist: Ariel, she was in a rush to go home..

Jose is fantastic. He cut and styled my hair. I have very fine hair and it is not easy to style. I keep getting compliments on how good my hair looks…even from strangers! Friendly salon and very clean.

did a shampoo and trim on the 8/1! She did an amazing job! I forgot how great she was .. she switched days so it was hard for me to get her to do my hair. But she first did my hair in 2021 . I will never let anyone touch my hair now! Go back for a color today! 8/12 let you know how it goes

Very disappointed, If you can't do a service then say so. I ask for a simple updo for my 6yr old Granddaughter and it was horrible. Ariel needs some additional training. My Granddaughter had a photo session which I told Ariel, she stated isn't her hair included with the session? I said no that's why I'm here. I show her the picture of What I want to done, And at that time if she couldn't have done it she should have said so. I shared a picture of What I ask for and what I got.
it is truly horrendous. I have used fantastic sams for over Forty years. I have never been so disappointed in the service that I received for my Granddaughter. This was the first time my granddaughter has ever visited a hair salon, Ariel brings my granddaughter to me after 20 minutes, with her hair with a sloppy braid and No curls, Ariel states I curled it. My expression on my face said it all. So she took her back to try again.The outcome was horrible. Ariel states, I have sprayed her hair really well.So the curls won't fall . They did within 10 minutes.
I know the
other stylist noticed
how horrible it was. But No one stepped up. The manager was in the first chair,nothing was said.
This was supposed to be a big day for my Granddaughter, due to the horrible updo, the photo session was rescheduled. The photographer seen how upset we were about her hair. And I wanted this to be a special day for her. Thanks Ruining her day.
Requested style: Some braids and curls for a 6yr old. I shared a photo of what I ask for and what I received.
Stylist: The stylist Aerial who was not very professional whatsoever.
I honestly feel she needs more training.

Jose did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. It was her first time getting her hair colored and it turned out beautifully! The appointment was easy to make online and Jose reached out to communicate that the service would take longer than listed and we were able to come in earlier and have him take the time he needed. Would 100% recommend!

Jose was great! He asked all the right questions and knew exactly what I needed. I have naturally curly hair, and I requested more bounce in my curls.

I found this place years ago after a less than ok job somewhere else. I was so lucky that it was Liz who answered. She fixed my hair and showed me a much healthier way to color my hair. She truly knows her mixology, and I don't think there is a color transformation she can not do. My daughter does vivid colors on her hair, and Liz always gets the intensity and colors perfect.
Stylist: Liz is the best! She fixed my hair years ago after a bad coloring job somewhere else. I drive an hour to and am happy to do it.

I had a wonderful experience getting my haircut by Jose this morning. It was very easy to make an appointment online and there was no wait time before being seated in his chair for my consultation. I showed him a picture of my haircut inspiration/idea and he asked follow up questions to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted.
Jose was meticulous with his details and took his time; I never felt like I was being rushed or as if I was just another haircut he had to do that day. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and he does it well. I would highly recommend seeing Jose at Fantastic Sams in Carrollwood and I know I will defiantly be coming back.
