I have now purchased six appliances from Famous Tate and have had a great experience each time. My sales representative, Graham, is knowledgeable, professional, and always helpful. Installation was quick. I highly recommend this company!

Rude delivery crew and no way to reach customer support. We Purchased a new mattress and paid to have the old mattress removed. The delivery guys showed up and told us there was no room to take our old mattress so we should leave it in the yard and someone would come back next week. When we told them to cancel the delivery and entire purchase, they called their dispatcher and suddenly found room but told us we were “VERY, VERY LUCKY” that they were taking the old mattress. Yes, VERY, VERY LUCKY to spend almost $4,000 with them. When I tried to call the store, I discovered there is no phone number or email address to reach customer service when the store is closed. They aren’t opening til noon today. We’re about to renovate our kitchen and bar. All appliances will be purchased from a different local store with good customer service.

Great customer service! We needed a new dishwasher. They knew their inventory, were able to answer all of my questions over the phone, and their pricing was competitive. Highly recommend.

Donna at Famous Tate is AMAZING. Although many kitchen remodel plans have fallen through over the past 5+ years, she has never failed to offer her expert recommendations. She is highly knowledgeable and very prompt. Just as importantly, she pays close attention to your priorities, prompts you to consider often-forgotten details, offers alternatives and is both friendly and funny. We will always turn to her and Famous Tate for our appliance needs!!!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a washer and dryer. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped guide me in choosing the right fit for our needs. He even went out of his way to help install the new units at my house and also remove the old ones. I strongly recommend buying from Famous Tate and working with Chris.

Worst customer service EVER! As long as you don’t have any issues with your order/delivery, then you might be ok. However, if there is any issues at all (wrong item, wrong color, damaged item, etc), then you’re in for an impossible situation. My husband and I had a situation where we had to exchange shorter pedestals for higher pedestals for the new washer and dryer purchased from Famous Tate on Henderson. FT gave us the run around on the phone, so we went into the store to talk to the manager. The manager was cold, short and rude. In fact, the visit resulted in having to call the sales person that originally sold us the washer/dryer. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach the sales rep for a few days. After four days of calling and leaving voice messages, we finally thought we got things corrected until they shipped another washer/dryer to our home instead of the pedestals. Obviously we refused the delivery. When I called to speak to the same manager, Steve, he was once again short, rude and even cut me off mid conversation and told me “he doesn’t have time for a long winded story”. Then, he expressed anger towards me for refusing the washer and dryer delivery even though I had a washer and dryer still sitting in my laundry room that they never came to pick up. I reminded him that we were waiting for new pedestals and not a new washer/dryer. To make matters worse, he then explained that they do not have the pedestals in stock even though we paid for them and, the day prior, the sales rep told us they were in stock. After trying to work with FT for a total of 7 business days (without a working washer/dryer and house full of kids) from when I made my original purchase, we finally got fed up and asked for a full refund. We ended up purchasing the same washer/dryer at LOWS, saved money, and they were installed/shipped the next day. Save yourself the aggravation and just go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. The people at FT on Henderson are RUDE and don’t seem to like their jobs very much.

I have bought many appliances over past 20 years from Famous Tate. Ron Wilson is an outstanding sales person. Very helpful in explaining all the different options. Highly recommend Ron as well as Famous Tate.

16 years ago my condo flooded and I bought all new appliances here. Other than replacing the microwave it is now time to replace all the others. I just purchased a refrigerator here last week. Unfortunately I'm having some problems with it and the service here is amazing. They sent someone out immediately who was unable to fix the problem so now I'm getting a replacement! I will be buying the rest of my appliances at Famous Tate due to the service here!

Claudia was amazing to work with. She emailed us within 2 minutes of our inquiry and sent information on available options. She followed up quickly and made the entire process seamless. Our new washer & dryer arrived two days later.

I am a Famous Tate repeat customer and they definitely earn my business. I love the personalized service and that they are a local business. Stephen in sales helped me select just the right models of dishwasher and refrigerator. The team they sent out to install/ deliver were so prompt, courteous and professional. They even wiped the fingerprints off the refrigerator door and used a level to ensure perfect positioning of the door attachment. I highly recommend them.
