Customer service seemed great at first but they are difficult to reach and avoidant after installing our vinyl plank flooring incorrectly. In addition we were charged for flooring and installation for two existing rooms that were never discussed, measured, or refloored; and they apparently changed their minds about tiling a small stairwell that was full of construction debris when they originally tiled the lanai. The flooring in our addition was installed in 2022-2023. When we gained access to the addition in December 2023, we noticed that the vinyl plank flooring was coming up and that there were a number of uneven places throughout the floor (they never leveled the subfloor). Chris Petit, the president of the company came out when we mentioned this problem and then gave excuse after excuse as to why this did not need to be fixed - “it’s a floating floor and it’s supposed to creak, it’s a floating floor and will expand and contract with temperature changes”…very condescending in nature. We understand it’s a floating floor, we’ve lived with floating floors, and brand new flooring (floating or not) should not begin cracking, coming up from the floor, or be uneven to the degree it currently is. Someone did come out to “level” the flooring. They actually used self leveler in one of the rooms and it’s great now. I’m not sure what they did in the other rooms as this flooring is actually worse. We’re still hoping the company will do the right thing and fix their mistakes but as of right now we’re not sure as it has already been over 2 months. Here are pics of the stairwell and vinyl floors. The blue tape is where the flooring is uneven, coming up, and separating.

We recently purchased a condo in Whispering Oaks, Carrollwood. We fell in love with the engineered hardwood floors on the bottom level. We disliked the carpeting on the stairs and second level. So we found Chris Petit's information from the previous owner and contacted him. His company installed the engineered hardwood on the bottom level 8 years ago. We met with Chris and he had the information in his file for this particular hardwood. We made an appointment for Chris to measure and give us some recommendations for the staircase. We wanted the same Flooring on the steps to tie the bottom level and upper level together. He showed us a bullnose option on the steps we fell in love with. We had a small Stair rail at the bottom and a rail up the left side. Chris referred us to a Stair company who designed and will install the stairs. Chris has coordinated with our painters, our Granite company and our Stair installer. His experience and expertise in the Flooring industry gave us confidence with his suggestions and an end result that exceeded our expectations! My husband and I have perfectionist tendencies, ok, they are more than tendencies, we like things done right and Exclusive flooring did a fabulous job. We had a rock fireplace that was uneven and the craftmanship was extremely well done. We will use them any opportunity we have.

Chris Petitt measured my carpet at 12feet higher than it should have been... in essence adding a whole extra bedroom. He took advantage of me being an out-of-town property owner and overcharged me in multiple areas of his quote. Additionally, the carpet was not properly stretched, so within a year of installation, we started to see wrinkles developing. He argued that it was being mistreated and large, heavy furniture must have damaged it. There was no large heavy furniture in any of the rooms... a queen mattress on a standard, rolling mattress frame and a vanity in a low use guest room. He argued that he wouldn't pay for it to be restretched. My husband had to press him over and over to get him to split the cost. Chris is dishonest and doesn't stand behind his product. His communication is terrible since he will just ignore your emails, phone calls and voicemails. Also for a few yrs after the install, I received spam email because his wife's email had been hacked. He let it go on for a good 2yrs before it stopped. Made me wonder about his desire to keep my credit card and contact info safe. Avoid him at all cost. He's just all-around BAD BUSINESS.

We have been praying about taking the next step in our home and getting new floors for the past year. We had a few companies come out and I am so pleased that God lead us to choose this company.Jennifer was very helpful with the scheduling of the appointment's from consult to instillation. Customer service was perfect.Chris was so knowledgeable in helping us decide what type of flooring product/color/texture we wanted to use with our rather large family. Durability and waterproof was a must.We initially had carpet and since the new floor are in I can actually breathe better. My allergies have decreased by 60%.The floors look beautiful and totally transformed the look of our home.The gentlemen whom instilled the flooring wore masks at all time which made us feel very comfortable and safe. They were very kind and considerate. The crew was right on time every morning and cleaned up before they left each day. The project took 2 days and went right on schedule.At one point I heard worship music coming from one of the rooms the guys were working in and it just afformed for me that we choose the right company.I recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a transformation in their home. Exclusive Flooring Center recently installed all my flooring needs throughout my house including vinyl, tile and carpet. It was a pleasure working with Chris and Jennifer and their experienced team of installers. Chris met each team of installers on the day of installation to explain what needed to be done. Thereafter, Chris would check in with me on a regular basis to make sure I was happy with the product and the installation. I found their installers to be on time, skilled and very neat. I have recently hired Chris and Jen to furnish and supply flooring for 4 of my clients. I am most pleased with their featured varied styles of wood, carpet and tile in the showroom and most of all 2 of their installers. The installers were most courteous, clean, on time, have traits of proficient workmanship. Very happy clients at end of day!
