I will never go to any other vet. Dr. Danielson is so knowledgeable and he and his staff have always been kind and understanding. Last year, my guinea pig started showing end of life symptoms because she was older in age. I called the office in a panic and they squeezed me in for a same day appointment. Dr. Danielson made sure that my baby was comfortable and he took his time talking to me, reassuring me that I'd done everything that I could. My guinea pig passed away at home shortly after. The office called to check in and I let them know. A few days later, flowers arrived at my door and I received a card saying that a donation had been made in her honor. That meant the world to me. There are some people who think that a small animal means that the love is also small, but any good pet owner knows that that couldn't be further from the truth. The gesture from Dr. Danielson made me feel less alone in my grief and now, a year later, I still think about that kindness. This is an office full of animal lovers who display a kind of beside manner that can't be taught. They have been such a blessing. It doesn't get more compassionate or more professional than Dr. Danielson and his staff.

Can't say enough good things about Caring Paws. We have seen Dr Danielson in the past for our guinea pigs and a skin issue with our dogs and he was thoughtful, kind, and helped resolve the issue quickly. Most recently, we saw Dr Ben Turner for a more emergent operation after our other Golden ate a toy and he discovered her stomach twisted. He was empathetic and heartfelt, he helped us explore our options, and he even came in late at night/early the next morning to check on her recovery and let us know her status. Not many vets give that personal service and we felt he really cared about our Clover. While vet care is very expensive, you get what you pay for and it is so worth it at Caring Paws. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Danielson is the most kind and knowledgeable vet that you will find in the Tampa Bay Area. We have been going to him before he started Caring Paws and we would follow him anywhere. He has helped us with our animals when other vets gave up. His many years of veterinary experience and his huge heart make him the best vet around. Our family is so grateful for Dr. Danielson and his helpful and friendly staff at Caring Paws. We highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Danielson and his staff are truly professional and really care about every patient they see. Dr. Danielson has been part of my vet family since 2001 and I'll always go to see him! The office has flexibility and is willing to go above and beyond to meet your pet's needs!!

We had been taking our dogs, Petunia and Magnolia, to Dr. Danielson since we arrived in Florida in 2013. We initially brought them to the Ehrlich Animal Hospital where he worked, but when he started his own practice a few years ago, we stuck with him. Magnolia had a host of medical problems at a relatively early age and Dr. D was always there for us and particularly on that difficult last day. A week ago, we had to bring Petunia, at 15-years old, to Dr. Danielson for the last time. Dr. D is a very compassionate vet and made that last day as bearable as it could be. In memory of Petunia, Caring Paws Animal Hospital made a generous donation to the Suncoast Animal League. It still brings tears to my eyes to realize what we went through with Dr. D and our dogs. The very good and the very hard times. He and all of his staff are very caring people and my wife and I are very happy we chose him to take care of our dogs. If I could give Caring Paws Animal Hospital and Dr. Danielson a rating of more than five stars, I would!

Dr. Danielson is a wonderful vet. He and his staff go above and beyond to give their clients the best care. Not only does he see cats and dogs, but he also treats rabbits- which is how we initially found him, as he was one of only a few veterinarians in the area that treated rabbits. Dr. Danielson helped us in caring for our older rabbit. Due to his expertise, we were able to make it through a health crisis and enjoy many more years with our little guy. We will always be grateful to Dr. Danielson and his staff. I can not recommend him more highly.

I have taken all my fur-babies to Dr. Danielson for over 15 years now. He is caring, smart, very experienced, and patient. I wish I could give this office a hundred stars! The staff is excellent and treats your pet as if they were family. Dr. Danielson and his staff have gone above and beyond many times when my pets were ill.

Dr. Danielson and his team are amazing. He is very thorough and encourages you to ask questions when making difficult decisions. I have been to many other vets and he is the gold standard! My husband and I feel very blessed to have him as our fur baby's doctor!

Dr. Danielson is an amazing vet, after moving to FL and having to find a new vet I for my senior dog I was incredibly nervous, and never imagined I would trust a new vet enough to do my dogs dental surgery. Dr D. got down and sat with my dog on the floor which made me feel instantly comfortable, and explained everything in detail. He knows how much fur babies mean to their owners and takes truly great care of them, and their owners to calm any fears. I did not think at the age of 10 I would ever put my senior dog under anasthesia again, but I trusted Dr. D so much after seeing that he knew how much my dog means to me. Great experience and a great vet. For others complaining about pricing, you pay for what you get. He is worth every cent.

Dr. Danielson is the best very in the area. He takes time for each patient and actually cares about both owner and pet. Don't let the negative review represent him. There are some people who do not want to pay for quality care to save their animal's life.

I would give them one star if I could! They overcharged and ran tests before asking our permission and telling us how much they would be and after running a thousand dollars worth of tests told me he had a minor parasite which was treated with a one time medication that cost $22. Thousands of dollars spent just to be a $22 problem that they made sure to check last. This place is a scam and they care much more about your wallet than your pet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE THEIR LAST CONCERN IS YOUR PET!!!! Update: Dr. Danielson has since called and yelled at me and my significant other as well as brided me to remove my review. Also, he has since removed other negative reviews which is fairly convenient. DO NOT TRUST DR. DANIELSON BECAUSE IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU MAKE FOR BOTH YOURSELF AND YOUR PET!

Dr. D is so great. He takes the time to answer any questions & is very thorough. We recently moved from IL where we had an amazing Vet (shout out to Dr Melissa Conrad at Mill Creek in Palos Park, IL). We were afraid we wouldn't find another Vet we liked/trusted with our 5 fur babies, like we did with Dr Conrad, but Dr D has come through for us! We have been quite fortunate with our Vet care.

We love Dr. Danielson and his staff. We followed him to his new home here at Caring Paws. They are so attentive to all three of our cats; especially Molly who is a handful and a half.
