Now this is really ridiculous. I actually had to conduct a cash back transaction unnecessarily just to purchase a gift card because they have some weird policy at this store that you have to use cash to buy gift cards. So because they don't have processes in place to keep scammers at bay the customer who does the right thing every time is now impacted. This was completely inconvenient and totally unnecessary all she did was take the cash back and put it right back in the register. For what??!! Stupid stuff like this keeps people from patronizing your store! Cut it out!!

I worked with this company and it has gone to the dumps. The people working in some of these stores don't know what they doing and can't help you then want to get mad like it's there store and products and I feel if you can't understand your customers how can you help them the stores here in Tampa FL are the worse I will not be shopping in store I rather order online so I can stay out of trouble they don't even deserve a star but since I can't write a review without giving you a star I guess I'll lie and say one

The cashier yesterday at around 2:30pm was very unpleasant. She wouldn't answer any questions and looked at us like deer in the headlights while talking to her! Very rude and inconsiderate. I chuckled a bit when my cleaning spray bust open spraying all over her! Do better Dollar general, you could hire me and I would make your customers happy. :)

This is about the 4th time I come running to this store and get the door closed in my face and it’s always before 10pm. This evening I pulled up 9:53 for only one item which I’m sure I would of been able to grab within those 7 minutes! Extremely unacceptable! I manage a retail store and by policy if a customer is at the door before closing time even if there’s only 30 seconds left I have to let them in. I’m not the review kind but This is unacceptable !! Their mind set is to have the store and register closed and counted for before 10pm. Another customer pulled up at 9:55 and started yelling “you guys close at 10 not 9:55 I still have 5 mins and the girl that was locking the door just looked at him and went on about her business. Tighten your staff up!

At this location they don't own up to there prices I wanted an organizing shelf for my closet and the sign said $6 and when it ring up at the register it said $7.50. Pointed it out to the cashier and she advised me that she is not able to adjust the price it is the one that rang up and if I don't want it I don't have to buy it so she refunded my money. I will never shop at this Store again and will make sure that no one I know ever shops there. Look out they are a rip off.
