Hey i’m natural and have been coming to Charos for many years and this is the only salon that can straighten my hair without adding chemicals or damaging it. My daughter also comes here and never has visited any other salon for straightening her hair. The staff and friendly and super attentive.

I have been going to Charo’s since 2011 and can honestly say that I only trust her and her staff to do me and my family’s hair. I drive all the way from Wesley Chapel to go to this salon. My daughter Carmen (pictured here) has natural curls and she loves getting her curly hair styled by Charo. The smile says it all.

IF YOU HAVE NATURALLY CURLY HAIR DONT COME HERE!! I debated on posting this but others should be careful. I have been on my natural hair journey for almost three years with only one other time that I straightened my hair for Christmas back in 2022. I had no issues back then so I decided to come back on 01/31/24 to get another blow out. Angelina who did my hair recommended I get the deep conditioner which I agreed since my ends were dry. When I go to wash my hair in February I come to find out that my curls are dead and my hair smells like chemicals. It smelled absolutely terrible and continued to smell like this for two more washes. When I go to the salon to ask them for an explanation I am told that it was nothing that she did. She said that they don’t add anything to their products like typical Dominican salons and it must be something i did. Even after I stated that I did nothing different, my hair was natural and I went to them previously and didn’t have this issue, nothing was resolved. The sad part is that I have been going to them for over 10 years and I will never go back and i recommend you don’t either if you value your hair. ?

This salon has excellent staff, Michel is excellent, apart from doing a good job, he listens to you, Yelissa is all pretty, I traveled from Spring Hill where she is...thank you for your treatment. The owner, Charo, pays attention to all the work her collaborators do, and music that gives peace
