This food pantry is associated with a church in Carrollwood and has distribution hours, two days a week, Wednesday and Saturday. They are open Monday through Friday for volunteers to come and help with packing and distribution of food items that are donated from local grocery stores. My son started to volunteer here when he was a freshman in high school, which was more than six years ago, and now I volunteer a few days a week to help with packing the fresh food items. High school students can volunteer here on a regular basis for their community service hours that goes toward scholarships in the state of Florida. Monica Wilson, and Franny Tough as well as Carol. Are the stable employees. They keep everyone going.

An example of why this is such a great country - the gift of giving. You won’t realize but until you volunteer at such locations to what lengths your neighbors go to donate and do their parts - the amount of donations is just amazing. Places like these are what makes us proud - this one is one of them where my son volunteers and he has nothing but good words for the polite, helpful and always cheerful individuals running the place. Keep it up and keep shining!

They're always very nice and polite. They don't always have a lot but other times they have quite a bit to help get someone through the month.

I kindly asked them for gluten free food because Im a serious Celiac, and they gave me nothing but bread … I couldn’t eat anything they gave me.
