I have been coming here ever since I was a child, and my mom had ever since she was a teenager. We have brought ferrets, dogs, and birds and always received such great, caring service.
Last year, I adopted my first dog on my own, and of course there was no other vet I’d take her to. Not even two months ago, I brought her in to get her annual vaccines when Dr. Brooks noticed some lumps in her mammary glands. It is something that I probably never would have noticed on my own. He walked us through what it could be, as well as what we would have to do to test them. With the probability of it being cancer, and with my financial situation, I was heartbroken and preparing for the worst, but the entire team handled this situation with so much grace and they were extremely understanding and able to work with us.
All of her diagnostic tests and surgery were done in just a few weeks without any complications. We got her stitches removed yesterday and I am so so thankful for Dr. Brooks and the entire team here. Sticky has been doing so well, and the cancer was caught before it had the chance to progress. I can’t even explain the relief I feel for getting to have more time with my baby. We owe it all to everyone here for catching it and removing it with such swiftness and care. I could not recommend them enough.

Dr. Brooks is a very knowledgeable person with great attention to detail. I love his approach and the way he treats his patients. Additionally, his services are not as expensive as some other places, and they will not try to rip you off by pushing a bunch of unnecessary services like some other places do.

I have taken 2 rats, a bird and a ferret to this place and Ive never been happier with my experiences. They are always able to fit me in on short notice (my pets always getting into bad situations). They clearly care for my pets and always educate their clients on pet care. They are so friendly and competent. I always recommend them when exotics come up. This would be my regular vet if I didn't already work at a clinic.

Today we sadly said goodbye to our almost 9 year old lop rabbit, Gouda.
She had been struggling with ear based abscesses over the last 8 months. I had done everything I could to help make Gouda’s life comfortable, but in the end I knew this was going to be a lifelong struggle for her. Dr. Brooks laid out Gouda’s options this last visit, and my husband and I chose to not put her through anymore procedures/antibiotic treatment. He was extremely to the point, knowledgeable, and professional. His compassion and support toward our decision has stuck with me the entire day, and it has brought us a lot of comfort knowing we made the right decision. I distinctly remember him saying to me that this was purely out of love for Gouda, and he is absolutely right. I am grateful to have found his office, and cannot say thank you enough to Dr. Brooks for those words during such emotional moment.
Highly recommend. The staff and Dr. Brooks do a terrific job.

From the moment I called to see if they accepted rabbits to the moment I left was pleasant, easy, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr Hughes and ALL the ladies I dealt with were all super happy, positive and most importantly friendly and as a first time patient that is extremely important! I brought my senior dog to this animal hospital for 3 years. He and his capable empathetic staff provided excellent care to my dog. I strongly recommend them if you have pet care needs. The facility is clean and front desk as well as pet care staff are excellent.

I first brought my turtle here 3 years ago and have been back multiple times since, and every time he is very well cared for. It’s great to find a vet who not only accepts reptiles/amphibians but is so knowledgeable and informative about how to care for them. They are very friendly and their checkups are affordable.
