All 3 of our little beans have gone through children’s nest on maple dale. The staff really does care for each one of these kids as their own. Not once in our years enrolled here did I question our decision. The teachers are fabulous and communicative. If extra care is needed for a student they make plans to do everything in their power to help them succeed, it is always clean, we receive full transparency. The director Mrs. Sheila truly cares for her staff and it is reflected in the care received by the students. Whatever you are paying director Shiela is simply not enough for everything she gives to this school. I am going to be sad when our youngest graduates.

Ms. Sheila and staff have welcomed me with open arms to the Children’s Nest. I am so happy to know that my speech therapy clients and their families are receiving the best curriculum outside of speech therapy sessions. It’s a pleasure to be here every week!

My daughter started here in February, her first time ever in school and away from me. She likes her school, her friends and teachers. I'm very happy with Children's Nest. The staff is wonderful. School is Clean and they do so much fun activities here, that the parents can be involved in.

Overall this is a great daycare. Mrs Sheila is an amazing director who has been there quite a long time which says a lot. She runs a tight ship and gives off a very motherly/protective vibe which we appreciate. The teachers are caring and passionate- and most of all PATIENT. There is adequate indoor/outdoor space and activities for the kids. We would recommend Children’s Nest on Mapledale.

Our first daughter started at Children's Nest a few months before she turned 3. We were fortunate to have my mom watch her until then so it was a big adjustment to trust a stranger with our girl! We went to EVERY daycare in the area to tour and speak with directors. I was getting frustrated that we hadn't found the right one, but when we walked into Children's Nest & spoke with Mrs. Sheila, she completely put me at ease. I knew immediately that this was the place! Mrs. Carmen taught her through VPK and now she's excelling in Kindergarten. Our younger daughter started at Children's Nest last year & I feel so safe with her there. I look forward to watching her excel further once she starts VPK with Mrs. Carmen next year!

When we first went to check out Childrens Nest it was clean, behind lock and key, and friendly staff. Things I noticed was the children's art displayed-to teach pride in their selves. The staff was patient and very understanding that children are individuals not some number in a system. When i would pick my kid up, I would sit in my car and watch the kids play for a while-i wanted to see how the teachers watched them when nobody was looking. The teachers were interactive and even playing with them on the playground. They make every child and parent feel welcomed and loved. My child attended the vpk program (2019-2020) and is now in kindergarten. He was a late reader and talker-he is now ahead of the class! Reading at a 1st grade level and doing subtraction and addition...in kindergarten! I am just so impressed. He attended a robotics class and soccer class that was offered by Childrens Nest, on site.I am very picky when it comes to my child and left a different/previous child care center due to lack of poor management.When i came to Children's Nest, I was greeted by Miss Sheila. She should be named Miss Amazing!!! She answered my questions before I could even answer them. If I called about anything, she was in the know. She treats others with respect and dignity-no matter who you are or how difficult you may be. Watching her calmly care for unforseen situations is impeccable. She and her staff are truly unsung heros in our hearts, especially in such unprecedented times. I am proud and honored my child got to attend Childrens Nest. Childrens Nest-it should be called CHILDRENS BEST I am forever grateful?

My daughter started kindergarten and has quickly excelled past all the kids in her class in reading her sight words. I attribute is so much to how intensive the VPK program at children’s nest was. I realize how much more prepared she was in most children who went to VPK elsewhere. Miss Maria and Miss Carmen were absolutely incredible and Miss Sheila is a fantastic and attentive director.

I've always loved this place. My son did VPK here and he wasn't on level, Ms. Sheila got him right on track. The Learning is on point here! I was taking my daughter somewhere closer to home but I'm planning on starting her at children's nest soon. She's about to be 3 and I'm looking forward to the change.

Great Daycare. This Is one of the best Dayschool, in the area. The staff is amazing with our children. I absolutely LOVE all of the teachers we have had. The communication between us and the teachers is impressive. Kathy the director, is wonderful! Both our kids go there and we're very pleased.

I chose children's nest in 2014 after touring several facilities in the Northdale area, my son is still attending and loves it. The facility is very clean and the entire staff is extremely caring and supportive. My son feels loved and cared for at school and has a strong curriculum to help him prepare for the next step in his education.

I have a 12 year old daughter that went here and a 4 year old daughter that currently goes here and I have to say that I continue to be impressed with the great teachers, great food that is provided to the kids, and clean environment. It's so comforting to have The exact same teachers that took care of my first daughter, take care of my second. Can't say enough good things!

Wonderful school! I have nothing but great things to say about Children's Nest. When we first started there I had a 4 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. Both of them have made so many friends. My daughter is now in elementary school and her teachers made sure she was well prepared for the academic expectations of kindergarten. She thrived in Kindergarten because she was given a great foundation with the VPK program. My son is now 4 and loves coming to school. His teacher is great and he is excited to see her every morning. I highly recommend this school!
