Beautiful and well maintained community. Service is greatly appreciated. Pools and clean and good. Lots of space in community for walk. School bus comes to the entrance. We enjoyed our 4 year stay at Camden bay.

Camden Bay is a great community in a great neighborhood. It's close to the airport and downtown but also a reasonable driving distance from Clearwater beach. I've been here just over a year and really enjoy living here. Steven was my leasing agent and he's excellent. I was coming from another state and he made the entire process so easy. Everything is done online which is so convenient. The app for rent payments, community wall and service requests is a nice perk. Maintenance is the best of any rental community I've lived in. The guys have always come the same day to fix anything, even on a Sunday! A few of the maintenance guys also live here so it's convenient for them to stop by. The only cons for me are the occasional missed trash pick ups by Valet Living, some neighbors who don't clean up after their dogs and the pricey rent. If you need to break your lease for whatever reason, the fee is 2 months' rent, NOT $10,000 like a previous reviewer claimed. There are also no bugs that the same reviewer mentioned. I haven't had a single roach and pest control sprays regularly. Overall it's a beautiful property with lots of nice landscaping. If you can afford it I would recommend living here but be aware of the fees for valet trash pickup, water and parking which will add about $100-$120 to your monthly rent, plus the cable/internet package (everyone has it whether you want it or not) for about $113. If all the Camden properties are managed like Camden Bay you can't go wrong choosing them!

Camden Bay is a great place to live,I truly recommend it. I moved to Tampa from Miami this year and the first complex where I moved in was a complete nightmare and I was so scary about not finding a good place here. Since I moved here everything changed! This place is nice, clean and everything really works and the team from the office and maintenance are awesome !

In my opinion, it didn't feel safe (gates are consistently broken and the pedestrian one is open at all times), they don't take care of maintenance issues, just put a bandaid over them. My first day in our apartment, we found numerous cockroaches and everything seemed as it was falling apart or dirty, despite them charging a cleaning fee when you leave.

I had multiple touring appointments scheduled for today at different complexes but what immediately stood out to me in regards to this one - was when Lauren reached out the day prior to introduce herself and to discuss my needs to ensure the touring went smoothly - and it sure did! At this point I wasn’t even interested in the other apartments. Lauren was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and overall really represented herself and the community well. This place is very lucky to have her and I can’t wait to move in!

Long story short, make sure you dispute unreasonable move-out charges. It took about a month of constantly pushing back, but we got some large charges removed.Don’t back down. Take it to corporate office if you’re largely ignored by the office management. The rest of the office team are rock stars. And the maintenance team is amazing, too.**My concerns were handled by me and corporate, but still mostly me. No thanks to y'all. I did a month of follow-ups and work to get charges removed when they never should've been there to begin with.

Let me start by saying if I could give this a negative star review I would've Last year October 2022 my boyfriend and I came from NJ to start our new lives here in Tampa. Camden bay being one of our favorites (exterior perspective). Although the apartment was extremely small, it was something that we needed to do ASAP because I was jumping from New Jersey to Florida to start work immediately. This is where it just goes downhill. On my first day here I saw my first few roaches. I called the main office and let them know and they told me that they will get a person to come out and fume the house. A few days later, I started to see more and more roaches which was extremely disappointing because I pay over $1950 for a one bedroom 670 ft.² apartment. I was then told by Steven (our leasing agent in Camden bay) that this is Florida, and I will have to deal with the cockroaches. I was absolutely astonished by that response. no matter how many times I try to get my apartment, fumigated the roaches never left from day one. The embarrassment that I have to deal with every time a family member comes from New Jersey is unexplainable.No type of security is offered. The front gates are always having technical issues which they remain open and let intruders in and let them burglarize my vehicle four times. Lost many valuable things due to the lack of security in this community.The valet garbage that they MAKE you pay for. A disgrace! They skip days and forget to pick up from most buildings. The raccoons then come and destroy the garbage overnight. They recently hired someone new and he actually picks everything up and is very pleasant. But the amount of times I had to pick up and go throw away the garbage myself. When I pay for these services. DISAPPOINTMENT.At this point I had asked if it is too late to get out of my lease or maybe out of the apartment that I was in which they responded to. Yes it is too late and never gave me any options besides having to pay $10,000 bill to get out of this roach infested apartment. It was extremely disappointing.What I’m about to talk about is probably the worst situation I have ever been in at any place that I have ever lived at. Early May 2023 I was in the shower and I was coming out where I walked out and saw there was two men in my apartment that had the uniforms for Camden. This came out a complete shock for me and pure embarrassment and invasion of my privacy because I never allowed anyone inside of my house. I was naked and I was/am pregnant. I was traumatized, I immediately called my boyfriend and he went to the office and he complained to a lady that sits in front of Steven and she apologized and promised it wont happen again as they were just trying to put a new air filter in the apt. They then promised to always call before entering my house. They confirmed my phone number and my boyfriend‘s phone number and said that they have put it on file a few weeks ago it happened again and thank God my boyfriend was here to witness it this time. They went all the way into our bedroom door, where we were laying down in bed startled the both of us and my boyfriend immediately asked them to leave the house. We were never notified that anyone would come in, no one ever knocked on the door we were just startled by two men again our apartment. We went into the office immediately and started to complain, and all they said was they should’ve knocked. We are sorry and they were going to make sure to give us a call again. I’m tired of false promises.If you are looking to move anywhere, please avoid Camden Bay Apartments as you sign your life away in a lease that is unbreakable, you will be walked in on at your apartment without notification, and you will sleep with countless amount of roaches all around you. There is absolutely no difference than living in project buildings in the worst neighborhoods. Save yourself the money and invest in somewhere else. I do not feel heard, accommodated, or respected. I hope with this message someone can actually hear me and accommodate me.

This is a wonderful place to live, the team in the management office are very professional and friendly, especially Steven. They keep the complex clean, quiet, harmonized and take care that the residents respect the rules of coexistence to keep the place in the best conditions to live. Absolutely recommended. This move in experience has been amazing. Our leasing consultant, Lauren has made moving across states as easy as it can be. When it comes to driving down twice to tampa from the northeast you need a place that understands this process, is empathetic, and understanding. Thank you Lauren and everyone at Camden Bay!

I was really interested in a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom on first floor it was not available with the Camden apartments. However working with the rental consultant Steven was such a great experience. He was so personable, patient and knowledgeable.He really took his time to explain all my options, and showed different apartments. I will definitely consider Camden in the near future based on such a positive experience.Steven should definitely be a manager or trainer he has a great approach with people.

Ruby was great, after seeing a few apartments with cheaper rates we decided to come back to this one because Ruby was the only person who answered our questions honestly and make sure we get the cheaper prices with what we like. Thank you Ruby! And thank you Emily for going out your way to make sure I was comfortable in the apartment that we chose with the best view!

I still have not decided whether I’m moving here or not however, Lauren in the office was amazing. She was very professional and helpful. Her knowledge of the property made the process go by quick and efficiently. I’m sold because of her experience, kindness and understanding!The property is well maintained and it seemed like a wonderful place to live.
