False advertising and terrible customer service: On January 1 at 10pm, The Outback Steakhouse website had an advertisement on their website directly above the form to purchase a gift card which promoted getting a $10 bonus card when you buy a $50 gift card. I ordered a $50 gift card solely because of that advertisement, but never received the bonus card. When I contacted customer service, they sent a canned response saying that the promotion ended January 1 at 12am. The customer service agents I spoke to through both email and phone completely ignored my complaint regarding this false advertisement despite emailing them a screenshot of this fraud which was taken at the time of purchase. I am shocked a company of this size would not immediately offer some kind of small compensation to rectify this situation rather than further antagonize a customer who has lost trust in the company due to false advertising.

You are forgiven for your willfull blindness and contemptuousness from 7 years ago.
I recommend you actually get to know your staff. And actually know the limits of imagination of a restaurant concept....
And how it becomes a reality.
Take care.

Disappointed in the corporate offices customer service. Had a very concerning experience at the outback location on Dale Mabry. Was asked to complete a survey, that was completed. Also requested somebody from the corporate office to reach out to me to Express my Concern as food was served raw and general manager with extremely rude and unprofessional . No one from the corporate office reached out or seem to care. Why ask customers to complete a survey if you really don’t care? This is the type of business this is now. Certainly not what the founders have created and then sold to this company. Since this company has taken over the food quality has declined and they clearly don’t treat their employees well, as the servers never had anything good to say about their corporate office. I was a regular customer 2 to 3 times a week at their outback locations. You have lost a customer and I will be sure to let everybody know about my last horrifying experience. I should have Sued this company as I was hospitalized. Looks like Long Horn will be getting my business going forward.

Bloomin' brands recruitment is horrific. The recruiter's intent is process of elimination based upon a person's location more than interviewing & screening the applicants based upon skills, experience, & seeing if the applicant is a good fit for the role. It is an automated rejection, which is very impersonal. On top of the unprofessional handling of the interview, the same jobs, same title, sane locations pop up as new jobs repeatedly. They way this particular rrecruiter unprofessionally interviews, it is probably why Bloomin' Brands cannot find or let alone "keep" decent people!

Bloomin Brands recently changed their dining rewards program. At the Outback which my husband and I eat at, at least once of week the system for processing the rewards seems to be down more than it is working (speaking from our experience, our account). This means that we cant use the rewards we have earned and the rewards we earned at a visit can not be automatically added to our account. Last time it occurred I wasnt even able to add the receipt via there on-line process. I had to call the dining reward services number and provide additional information. At that time I asked what the difficulty was with their system since this is what the restaurant claims is causing all the problems (system failures at Dining Rewards). I was told that the issue lies with the actually restaurant, but hard to determine since this is the only Bloomin Brands restaurant weve gone to recently. So to get to the bottom of the blame game he suggested I speak with someone at Bloomin Brands. Just saying thats an impossible task!! I called a listed number for their offices in ***** which went nowhere. It was 9:45 EST (PA) and the message said the offices are closed and then goes on to states offices open at 8 EST weekdays. What?!? No wonder there are issues with this Brand of restaurants. Rewards expire so if they expire before the restaurant can get the system to work youre simply out the rewards. Regardless of where the problem lies Bloomin Brands is promoting this program to draw customers in so please address the problem and give customers a route to take care of problems that arise. This solution was a last resort, a route I dont like to take.
