I enjoy the good prices and selection. What sucks is the store refuses to have enough cashiers. 1 cashier everytime i go, and half the self checkouts are usually off. Or just waiting for the employee thats supposed to watch incompetent customers.

I had the pleasure of interacting with a truly exceptional salesman/customer service respresentative Chris M. at BJ's Grocery Store W Wster Ave. Tampa. From the moment I approached the counter, his friendly demeanor and genuine willingness to assist me made my shopping experience a delight.Their extensive product knowledge and the BJ’s app knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for, were truly impressive. Not only did he provide excellent customer service, but he also took the time to offer helpful suggestions and recommendations, making my shopping trip more efficient and enjoyable.Their positive attitude and professionalism created a welcoming and personalized experience that exceeded my expectations. I left the store feeling satisfied and grateful for the outstanding service I received. This individual is a true asset to BJ's Grocery Store and I look forward to returning and being assisted by them again in the future!

I really enjoy shopping here. The store is always well kept, has great inventory, is organized and they have very friendly staff. I want to give special mention to Joel for helping me find some products and help me use the app to find coupons. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I also want to mention Brian and Randy for their great customer service. I saw Randy offer to help load heavy items to a lady's car; that was very nice of him.

I went to the liquor store here for some boxes. Renee at the desk was exceptionally welcoming and greeted every customer who came in. I had just been to Costco liquor and another store and the reception was poor at both places. Renee was genuine in his interactions with each customer. He truly understands customer service! I wish we had more like him everywhere.

This place is much better than Costco. You can actually order ahead and pick up your order. The value on the products is the same if not better. They have an app that you can clip coupons in before you show and if you have them clipped in the app they automatically apply when they scan your card in store. The tire center alone will save you enough money to pay for the membership. It's only like $50 for the year and they run specials throughout the year where you can get the membership for as low as $20 and that will pay for itself if you shop their one time. The deli and bakery items are really awesome too. They can really save you some money . If you're running a small business or use anything in bulk you're foolish not to shop here. I strongly suggest you get a membership.

I had my car’s tires replaced at their tire center. First of all, the person that did the replacement had no knowledge of the proper size of the tires and their placement. They are different size on the back from the front, but I showed him even though they have ordered the tires. After picking up the car, I noticed several scratches on the rims. I went back and talked to the store manager, Jeff, who explained to me that those were the glue they used to removed and replaced the tires. Granted, some of the glue were coming off. The person (employee) that replaced the tires showed up in the middle of our conversation (the store manger and I) and was very defensive and argumentative about his mistakes to the point that the manager had to remove him from our conversation. I told the manager that I would have the car detail and came back, and of the glue was the issue I would personally apologize to the employee and himself. After having the car detailed clean, there are noticeable scratches to 3 out of 4 rims in the car. I came back to the store to talk to the manager, Jeff, about but I was ignored and he never showed up to the front of the store where I waited for 30 min. This type of behavior md customer service is unacceptable I am canceling my membership. I will follow up legally with my options and advice everyone to stay away from this store and company. There are several and more qualified options such as Costco around Tampa Bay Area. I wish everyone good luck with this store but I’m definitely not coming back!

Dear heaven this place is frustrating and the worst! This was the first time I have ever gone into a BJ's and the last. Costco and Sam's may have their issues but nothing like this!

Today 10/4/2023 about 4:20 p.m. I went to BJ's to purchase two items....a bag of greens and onions. BJ's had two fully displayed 3lbs onions side by side. On the left the regular onions were displayed $2.39 and the organic onions were displayed $2.59 on the right. These signs were on the edge of the display table front lip. I took the bag of greens and the organic onions to the self checkout. The onions scanned $3.99. I explained to the associate David the item is marked $2.59. He proceeded to the produce area. I glanced over and I see him having a conversation with the produce associate. I did not get the name of the produce associate. He is a tall young Afro-American. I could not figure out why it took David so long to check the price. David comes back with a cell phone picture showing the organic onions with a $3.99 display sign. I went over and immediately see a $3.99 sign that was NEVER PRESENT now magically appears. To my surprise the produce associate cleverly rearranged the display to correct his error. He put all of the bulk organic onions in a shopping cart with some regular onions to the side. He set the stage to make it appear that a new display was going up with "new" prices. I asked David what happened to the $2.59 price tag? I said will you honor the price for $2.59? He said the price is $3.99 here is the picture. He just shrugged his shoulders. David approach John---the lead I am assuming--- to brief my concern. Instead of being a solution John was only a problem. He did not want to engage. He said I am just catching the tail end of this. He offered no solutions. I approached the produce associate upfront and asked him where is the sign for $2.59 for the organic onions? I told him you are not right. I did not raise my voice even though I was in disbelief. He and David just snickered as if this was some sort of cat and mouse play. I did not appreciate their lack nor interest for customer support. I went back and settled for the $2.39 bag of regular onions...not what I wanted. As I was leaving John the lead once again did not interject or do the right thing. I am a Costco and BJ's member and Costco honors wrong priced items with a smile. John the lead did not step up to the plate. I am sure the manager expects the leads to give the best possible customer service. A well run store operates when a manager is off duty. I have been a BJ's member for years and this is the first time BJ's associates did not follow BJ's cultural values and initiatives.

Very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. No huge lines to deal with. Great price on a variety of products.

There is ALWAYS a line at customer service. I don't need it that often but when I do it is usually a 10 minute wait. Usually only one person working the desk. I wish the would staff this location appropriately.

Had a great experience here at the tire center. I got an unbeatable price on a set of 4 Goodyear tires for my SUV. The installation was included with a special promotion. Customer service at BJ’s Tire Center was top-notch and the team was very attentive and helpful. They refill propane tanks at the tire center, so there was a lot of walk-in traffic and they handled it very efficiently. They also completed my installation very quickly and I was able to shop at the store while I waited. The store is very clean, organized and well-stocked. Great and friendly customer service and plenty of excellent deals that make the membership well worthwhile. I highly recommend this place!!

We have been members of BJS on Waters Ave since they opened and have been doing curbside pickup since covid. Today I did two orders at 7:30 this morning for pickup between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. We got a text that the second order we placed was ready. When we got there to pick it up we asked about the first order, they couldn't find it, we gave them the order number, they said it will be ready within the hour. That was at 12:25 pm. At 1:40 they said the order was canceled with no explanation as to why. To make it worse, we were told the refund would be issued within 30 days. This is unacceptable and terrible customer service. After all these years we will not be renewing this membership and we will go to the Clearwater store for the next few months until the membership expires. What a shame that this company could care less that we have a family of 6 that now has to figure out how to eat while we wait for almost $300.00 to be refunded. We will join Costco when this membership expires in July and hope for better service there.
