Good afternoon, We are ministry in Riverview, Fl that has an 18 month drug rehabilitation program called the Faith Home that helps men and women live a sober life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We also have a church open to the public and a thrift store on property.
We were in need of fortifying our overflow parking lot for our church members, especially during rainy season here in Riverview.
Big Earth delivered the same day 10 yards of crushed shell on site. The driver Tito was extremely professional and friendly. The site was extremely muddy and difficult to unload, but Tito was able to "run" the load out and make the job of spreading it our SO much easier. Tito went above and beyond, and treated us SO great.
We still needed more shell, so Adam set me up for a double load the very next day!!! It was here early and the next driver didn't disappoint.
I would recommend Big Earth for their reliability, and customer service. We wont go anywhere else. Thanks Big Earth!!!

Bought 5 yards of 1/2 Command Top Soil and 1/2 Standard Top Soil. Tyler was great about helping me double check my math and quickly got me checked out and scheduled for delivery. I ended up needing to change the delivery day last minute and they were happy to do so. On delivery, the driver helped me get the tarp laid out and quickly got the soil dropped, without damaging my pavers with his truck.
The soil was great quality. Yes, there was bits of wood mulch in it but that’s to be expected with any soil you’ll ever buy. The amount in Big Earth’s soil was leaps and bounds less than what you’ll find in Big Box store bagged soil though! And it was only small pieces of wood and natural debris, none of the plastic or glass you’d find in bagged soil. I used a peat moss spreader to roll it out, which caught a lot of the extra debris for me. I ended up having a bit extra which is what I told Tyler I wanted so I could do a second layer in some bad spots. It was perfect!
I went back a couple of days later to see if they had any Zoysia sod plugs as well. They’re usually impossible to find and are extremely expensive, but they had them for a very reasonable price. Tyler showed me the last couple they had but he pointed out that they were a bit dry and he’d be happy to order me some fresh ones. A few days later, 2 beautiful green trays were waiting for me and they happily put them in my car for me and had me out of there in 5 mins.
Overall a great experience, great help from the Big Earth team, and I’ll absolutely be using them in the future for any soil, sand, or sod I need!

Great prices! Great Service! As soon as I stepped into their doors, I was very pleased to be greeted with "welcome in" and a friendly smile. The gentlemen up front were welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful. I told the gentleman what I needed soil for and he made great recommendations in my price range. Upon getting the 1 yard of soil dumped into the tailgate of my truck, the operator of the tractor was helpful and patient with me as well. This is my NEW go to destination for my gardening/landscaping needs. Thank you!

Purchased 4 yards of Gravel Slate Chips online. I already knew it was going to be back ordered because I visited the store first. I received a phone call notifying me it was back ordered the next business day and wanted to verify if I still wanted to wait til the new load came in. I agreed and received an estimated arrival time. They notified me when the gravel was in and set a date/ time for delivery. After washing out the gravel it shined and looks great in my back yard.

I made an order for topsoil but unfortunately we had to make some changes to the order and everything had to be canceled. That being said, Kevin was very professional and I appreciated his assistance through the experience. Meh ….2yds of rip rap 400 bucks delivered. About 1/2 yard dirt. Seems a little spendy. But I could be wrong. Could have finished job if it would have been all rocks instead. Will go elsewhere next time

Visited twice so far, each time greeted by the friendly and helpful manager, Tyler. First time to check it out as I was in the area. Second time to pick up an order of melaleuca flora mulch I'd placed the first time. Fair prices, courteous workers, love the big foot freebies :) Check it out!

As you can see from their reviews they always have something to say. Nothing is ever their fault. No matter what these people come back on here to say they are shady people. I have personally heard them lie to customers. They will tell you whatever they think you want to hear in order to make a sale. I have also heard them be all nice to customers and immediately bad mouth them as soon as they walk out the store. They are not the people they seem to be. I was fired under false accusations. The fact is they gave me a raise shortly before they fired me for my good attitude. They lie and I can see that hasn't changed. Just because I have my personal opinion somehow means I have a bad attitude. I'll stop giving bad reviews when this world changes. Until then, I will continue to let the truth be known regardless of what people like. I'll leave a good review when its deserved. This is certainly a bottom of the barrel type outfit. To further show you what kind of people they really are: they did not give me my final bonus I had coming on my last check. That is unlawful and I fully expect it from a phony group of people. Dishonest to the core.

Terrible product. Terrible Customer service.order 2.5 Yards of “Potting soil”from the picture online it showed a healthy mixture, of perlite, pine bark, pine bark fines and topsoil.What was dropped off in my drive way was bark and cow manure, nothing like the picture online looked terrible.I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and fill a pot and test the drainage, I watered the soil, came back 6 and a half hours later and there was still standing water still after 6 and a half hours sitting on the surface. Rendering my garden useless, and turning it into a mosquito farm for me my wife and my two little boys.asked them for a refund, being that the product was Terrible and they gave me $116 back of my $226.And now I have to find a way to dispose of thousands of pounds of GARBAGE Dirt they wouldn’t come and pick up.Terrible product, terrible customer service. Terrible experience.Gave them the opportunity to make it right and they failed.If I could give 0 stars I would.Don’t believe the pictures, and get a sample of the product before you get thousands of pounds of it delivered to your drive way.You can’t trust it.
