I walked over to my neighborhood OZK branch in need of document notarization. I was willing to pay for the service, and I was the only customer there. They refused to do so because I was not yet a client of the bank. That sounds like a great policy to prevent new people from every wanting to become clients. How petty! Lesson learned...

Everytime I walk into the bank I am greeted with a Hello and a Big Smile. Unlike another bank that I deal with that no longer has tellers. I love the old fashion way to do business with a smile and a handshake. Bank OZK gives me just that!

Two stars for the local staff at the branch. Zero stars for the organization. For business banking customers, be prepared for a time warp to 1990. Card activation is antiquated, pushing callers to an IVR with no answer. Third party system that cannot deactivate a stolen card over weekends. Expired SSL certificates on websites endangering encryption.
