First time client. Came in for a cut. Lovely environment and customer service from reception to chair. Unfortunately, I realized my hair cut was visibly uneven after showering, but I was going out of town the next day. Went somewhere else to have it corrected five days later, where the stylist confirmed my hair was wildly uneven throughout (length and bulk, and “disconnected”), so we had to cut most of it off. Really sad because I loved the environment and the stylist was really pleasant.

This was my first time going to an Aveda salon, I picked it mainly because of all the positive reviews and very professional image. I was recommended Jesalyn when booking an appointment since I have curly hair. Can confirm she is definitely a curl expert!! There's always some anxiety when going to a new stylist, but she did such an amazing job and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. It really shows in the end result. I highly recommend her (and this salon) and will be back in a few months!

Had my hair done for the first time by Cesar and he did an amazing job. He was very gentle with my hair and I appreciated that. He listened and did everything that I was wanting. He made some great recommendations based on my hair’s needs and my hair felt so much better when he finished. I already scheduled my next appointment with Cesar. Looking forward to my next visit.

My wife made an appointment less than 24 hours before her scheduled time, and had an emergency come up. She tried rescheduling the morning of, and was told that she needed to pay a $137.50 cancellation fee. They should have verbally disclosed the cancellation policy before formalizing the appointment. At minimum, there should be an exception or verbal disclosure for people that book the day before. They referenced a contract from 8 months ago to justify their unreasonable charge. It is a good business practice to verbally explain to customers the policy beforehand so everyone is on the same page. After calling us liars for having an emergency, the owners husband jumped on the call and threatened us with a lawsuit if we left a negative review. My wife would’ve been happy to reschedule and pay over the standard amount, but after being disrespected, she will not return. After reading all the negative reviews, we are not the only ones that experienced this. This place has a flawed policy and doesn’t accommodate their customers. This is not sustainable and will hurt them in the long term. I should report this to the BBB.

Jesslyn does amazing blow outs! Ask for her especially if you have thick textured unruly hair like mine! I got compliments right after when I went to Publix!

It was my first time getting my haircut in 3 years and Taylor was amazing. Her amazing wash was so good I went into a peaceful bliss. She listened to my wants and discussed what she would recommend and I totally trusted her. Dare I say it but I think I’m a Taylor customer for life now! I will see her and this beautiful salon every six weeks now!

Big shout out yo Alaina at Aveda Salon Norrell in Hyde Park. I showed her a picture of what I wanted to go back to with haircut and style...she nailed it!! Almost perfect to the picture. Very sweet, nice, professional ladies working there. I highly recommend it & especially Alaina! Thanks again!

I had nothing but green flags from my service here. I have naturally curly hair and I wear it that way so finding a great stylist has been difficult. I found mine here and I plan to be a faithful client ?
