And, I'm completely done with autozone. Their parts distribution system is obviously terrible- i pass 4 to 5 autozones en route to this one every time I need a part. Terrible current business model for what used to be a sure thing. If I have to go to a closer store to "order" a part I guess I'll just give my business to Amazon.
And just to close this out, after standing in line for 20 minutes, I was told the part i need, that showed "in-stock" at this location isn't actually in stock. I've been a loyal autozone customer since i was a teenager, working on my '68 Volvo. No more. Good riddance.

This place is the worst. I went here to get a refund on my alternator. My original alternator I bought here did not even last a year. I go back get a replacement. The replacement did not work on my car. So I had to go buy one with high voltage when I have warranty with AutoZone. The new one costed me 700 with another vendor and it worked with my car. I go back to AutoZone to explain my situation. I met this associate, seems like he has had to much caffeine. Scrawny guy who was very sarcastic and denied my refund request and requested I come back the next day to speak with manager. Unfortunately, the next day I go again and I am helped by the same rude associate. He goes and gets his manager. To be nice, this big heavy set big brisket back ghetto blonde manager by the name of Paola comes stomping over upset at her own life I assume. Instead of hearing me out she begins yelling at me with attitude everyone is looking and she’s just doing it for show or dominance. I guess she wanted to make sure she was the loudest and biggest in the room. I stay composed don’t argue or tell anything. Instead of giving me a refund she goes and gives me a brand new alternator when I dont need it. And says I don’t qualify for it even though it no longer works for my car. She states all she do is give me a BRAND new one instead of giving me my
Money back. Then, She refuses to give me the box it comes with and says she can’t give it to me.
I place a complaint with corporate and then a manager from the store calls me. I couldn’t talk as I was at work told him I will return his call. Called him and texted him 2 days in a row and ignored.
The comments I’m making above are uncalled for but I was super nice and cordial when I tried to go about this the nice way but obviously you can’t be nice to everyone.The saying “its not where you go to but who you talk to” is real. I got to another AutoZone location in lutz and guess what? No issues super nice and gives me my refund back.

I am a Licensed Mechanic who was performing a mobile mechanic service late in the evening for a client on 10/3/2024. I had a part seized and had to leave my tools at the work site and run over to this autozone for a part. The employee behind the counter was extremely helpful in assisting me with ensuring I had a part fully assembled before walking out the door so I didn’t have anymore surprises at the job site. When the employee saw there was no hammer in the tool cart customers are allowed to use on site, he went and got a hammer off the shelves and allowed me to use it for 2mins to finish assembling the part my client needed put together this evening. Before the employee could check me out, his manager of sorts came up to the counter being extremly unprofessional and started berating the employee for pulling the hammer off the shelves to help me. Stating loudly “If a client needs a tool that is not for rent, they must pay for it.” Then this extremly unprofessional berating manager of sorts had the nerve to address me infront of his employees and other customers stating “Do you understand sir?”….. I attempted to commend the employee for going the extra mile in helping a mechanic finish a job for a client, and made it very clear to the manager based on the circumstances that I didn’t feel the employee did anything wrong. QUESTIONS FOR THIS AUTOZONE TO CONSIDER>>> 1. Why is a common auto tool such as a sledgehammer or rubber mallet not apart of the basic toolcart that clients have access to for simple on site repairs??? 2. Why were employees being berated in front of customers by an extremely unprofessional manager??? 3. Does Autozone not believe in correcting employees in private to avoid embrassing employees in public? 4. Who in the world though it was wise to place such a unprofessional individual in a position of management who though it was a bright idea to speak down to a paying customer infront of employees and other clients??? This store and incident receives (5)stars to commend the employee for going the extra mile and representing what could be consider the very best of Autozone….. The unprofessional berating manager receives (0) stars and sincerely needs to be demoted or fired for speaking down to employees and paying customers in front of everyone. This managment individual’s behavior was honestly very disturbing in regard to how a professional organization should be ran in a manner that respects its employees and paying customers. NOTE: For Executives monitoring these reviews,…If the store has cameras, it is advised to review footage shortly before Newsome Auto Care paid for parts around 8:30pm on 10/3/24 in order to review the manager’s behavior for corrective actions that need to be taken.

Great branch, had such a great selection of items in store, woefully understaffed though, and, as usual, Autozone is definitely one of the more pricey stores

Awful customer service, I called and made sure they had the part I was looking for and took a 1 hour drive when I get there the employee told me ohhh we don’t have the part our other stores keep on sending people here for the part and telling them we have the part when we don’t. Thank you for lying to me and wasting my time and money. I called the advance auto parts and they actually had the part and didn’t Waste my time. I wouldn’t have wrote this review if the employee was at least a little just a tiny bit apologetic but no it seems like they are used to doing this to people so here’s this review in return.

Customer service is just a quaint concept here. One star because I couldn't leave zero.
Waited in line for ten minutes for two customers to check out. Got to the counter and asked for a read of my check-engine diagnostic code. "Ok, let me just get the customer in line." No problem, except it took forever, during which time three more people got in line, then two more. 30 minutes of standing there while 5 employees stood around another register talking and laughing, and I left, and they probably still haven't realized I'm gone. I went to a competing auto parts store up the road, got a good code read, then turned around and bought all the stuff I needed, and some optional items too, including a code reader, and despite its proximity to my house, I will not have to put any faith into this AutoZone location again. If the building had been left empty instead of opening the store, it would have saved me, and many other people, from frustration, devaluation, and lost time.

Under staffed. Line out the door, phone rang the entire time I was in store picking up my order that had not been pulled yet. Employees were very nice and I feel bad for them.

Was at another location for a car battery. They informed me that this location had 1 left so he called & had them hold it.. i got there & was told their system shows 1 in stock but they do not have any.. it was so frustrating
