“I can't say enough great things about Tampa Tires and Wheels! I was in a bind when I got a flat tire, and the head of Service at Tesla recommended this local gem, saying they are "the real deal" and had received raving feedback from customers. I usually stick with the dealer's service center, so I was a bit skeptical at first, but wow, was I blown away!
K, the owner of Tampa Tires and Wheels, answered the phone personally and immediately put me at ease. He asked a few detailed questions about how my tire went flat and what I had experienced. I was impressed that he didn't just try to sell me a new tire. Instead, K wanted to come out and see if he could repair the tire first, to save me the cost of a new tire.
Within a few hours, K arrived, found not one but two nails in my tire, and expertly patched them up. The repair was flawless! He also took the time to examine all of my tires and reassured me that they were in good shape, even though they were aging, and wouldn't need replacement for another year. His honesty was refreshing.
The best part? The price! It was fantastic. I double-checked the price he quoted for a new tire, had I needed one, and he was very competitive with the other places I called. K was not only knowledgeable and service-minded, but also incredibly friendly and fair.

O'Reillys sold me the part, but their guys couldn't do the replacement in their parking lot and limited tools, so they sent me to Lightning. LIghtning was happy to perform the service as well as a tune up of the car. They gave a good estimate, and then they called me when the work was done and an assessment of other services overdue. The dealership was trying to charge me an arm and a leg to repair my car, and wouldn’t provide me with a rental car. The service at fox motors is affordable and quick. I needed a tire replaced and it reminded me that the dealership once put the wrong size tire on my car, as I shared this with your employees another man in the waiting room mentioned the same thing happened to him. Key notes for those of you who don't want to read through.
-Communication was good, they answered all the questions I had
-Inspection was $200 + tax but it was totally worth it to know everything you need to about the truck
-Took time, but every good thing does.
-Expensive but totally worth it so far (I've had it for a day)
-My truck seems to be in very similar condition as how I gave it to them, I haven't had time to look thoroughly. Concern regarding how they drove my truck (I intend on taking really good care of my truck and would hope they did too) When I got in it, the average mpg had been reset after them parking it where it was. Which is a little skeptical but I'll let it go.
Brought in my 2011 Ram 2500 SLT (6.7 Turbo Cummins) In for an inspection because I was having issues with what clearly seemed the turbo and felt I should just get a full inspection while they had it. I did my research on them and they seemed like a straight forward shop, and to be honest, I'd agree. I'm a high-schooler working two jobs and in extracurriculars so I needed someone I could trust with my pride and joy. I would say it was expensive, but I will also say, if you want a good shop with mechanics who are willing to do the right thing, be expecting to pay the money for their work. I did have to wait some time for the work to be done, as we had just come out of a few hurricanes in Florida the week prior, and shipping for a new turbo took a lot of time. They said they were getting it on a Monday, They contacted us that same monday afternoon and we picked it up same day. They did definitely express their concerns as to things I should likely get done as soon as possible, but because I'm short for cash right now, especially with all my college preparations costing lots of money, I just couldn't do them, but they were happy to provide "Band-Aid" like solutions so when I do have the money I can be right back in without any further issues regarding the priors. When I got in my truck and started it up for the first time, I was so happy to just have it back and get to drive it without the issue I was having that prevented me from driving it safely. I did notice that they had reset my fuel consumption monitor after they parked it where I was (which is a little skeptical) I'd hope that they would treat it with respect and love as though it is their own vehicle. I know to others it may not be much, but I spend the majority of my time and money in/on the truck. So I would hope they drove it respectively and accordingly (just to find the issues at hand). I turned the truck on and when I pulled up the fuel consumption, it provided that the average was .8 mpg (since last reset) which sounds kind of impossible considering it should be 16-22 mpg (I get about 19). So maybe they reset it, and the .8 was just from idling. Otherwise I haven't found anything missing or changed (haven't really looked). My truck is running amazing compared to before. The turbo sounds better, the exhaust break (vgt actuator in the turbo was messed up) sounds and works great. Haven't towed my boat yet but I'll find out.
Overall, it's been a great experience, would suggest it, and will be back. I needed a shop that not only works on all vehicles, but specializes in diesel, and I found just that.”

“Great experience having my battery replaced, computer reset and spark plugs changed on an GLC300 Upon calling they were great about taking their time answering all of my questions and giving pricing that was true and valid upon arrival. Service was done in under 2 hrs, and they were very accommodating about replacing the spark plugs which I asked about upon arrival. This was my first time having my vehicle serviced outside of the dealership, overall the experience was great from the price , time spent and work done to the customer service that was provided. Similar to the dealership they inform you on upcoming recommended services to keep your vehicle running well. Will be having my vehicle serviced here in the future.”
