I went to Branch 128 an Dana was very kind and helpull. Her attention was number 1. She help me and gave my all the answers i needed. I give amscot and Dana a thumbs up. She is the kind of person that you need in customer service in every branch.

The manager of this location and her staff are very accommodating, friendly and out perform the other Amscot locations that I have visited over the years. The staff handles the lines well and there is little waiting. I wish my banking institutions were this fast. They handle our money orders accurately and even took the time to explain information about the Sun Passes we purchased there due to our trips to GA. Lastly, the place is always clean and feels safe. Dana takes the time to greet my wife and myself even if someone else is working with us. This is a good location and managed well by Dana.

Toni is an employee who is NOT here to serve the customer! She literally told me that I cannot exchange $150 in $1s because Amscot policy is to only allow $100 maximum. When I asked Tony if that policy applies to each customer she quickly told me it’s per customer and if I send anyone else in to exchange the last $50 in $1s she’s not going to fulfill the request. Then she further told me that I would have to go to another store to get the $50 because they’ve got cameras and they’ll (Amscot) will know that she’s ultimately giving it to me. How outrageous is that?!?! At that point I told her she was wrong and simply being difficult! Amscot if you continue to employ people like her that’s really unfortunate…

One of the employees, Dana, is absolutely rude towards guest. Every time I’ve come to this location she thinks it’s okay to make comments that belittles customers. She works in customer care and definitely needs to work on how she articulates her concerns towards customers. There are better ways to speak to people.

Yeah I had the same experience with the supervisor very rude, and asked him a simple question about purchasing a money order, and he was just rude attitude plus he never gave me an answer I got upset and walked out,, just so you know more than 20 people I know have the same issue with him and we all going to write a review like this every time he is in the store,Tuesday January 4

I knew it was going to be a uphill road when I said hello and the store agent said nothing. I asked the gentleman, named Lamar, about the procedure when there is a money order that was not cashed. Lamar was very curt and impolite when providing the information. He had discourteous body language and I had to ask him the same question a couple of times keeping in mind there is no one else in the store. I asked to have a notary signature for my business as a notary. I am recently married and brought my documents, however Lamar did not ask for any documents just said he cannot do it. He was short with his words and for sake I would not trust a person with that type of mindset to run a store.I went to another Amscot and was able to get all the information I needed with stellar customer service. This post does not speak of Amacot as a whole but for that employee,Lamar who doesn’t incorporate the values Amscot has for their customers.
