Today I took a CPR training course at this ARC location. I had an instructor named Manny Perez who was extremely rude to me upon arrival. He spoke to me in a derogatory manner with an unnecessarily loud and harsh tone. I was taken aback as it was uncalled for in the context. During the training course, he proceeded to use his cell phone in the middle of given instruction and left the room repeatedly. He was impatient with fellow attendees in the class during the physical activities the course calls for. I was very displeased with the way Manny Perez conducted himself. If you are looking to take a ARC CPR training course, I would advise to avoid this location. If anyone from the customer service department of ARC reads this complaint, please feel free to contact me for further details. My contact information is on file. Thanks!

I read MaryCarson’s review, and I must say, I had very similar experience with Manny Perez. He was very impatient and aloof. And the last thing you want in a team mate in administering Basic Life Support is a rude dude. You need to be able to work with your teammates in that situation, and effective RESPECTFUL communication is vitally important. Manny Perez made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, and hindered my ability to learn a critical skill. I would suggest avoiding this instructor as he is not warm man. I would suggest to Manny to consider being a more encouraging and kind instructor.
