My husband and I recently purchased a condo and could not have done it without the AMS team! We worked with lender, Mike Brindle, and loan processor, JoAnne Patton. The team was transparent every step of the way and had our best interest at heart! Mike was a great resource, with the knowledge and experience to help us make informed decisions that have given us stability as first-time home buyers, even in the current high interest rate market. JoAnne was efficient and accurate, never missing a deadline. She also provided weekly updates during the process (and sometimes more frequently for any important updates). AMS was great to work with while buying our first home. We used a VA home loan and everyone at AMS was very knowledgeable in every aspect of the loan process. They answered every question we had and wrote new approvals to submit with each of our offers. Vasili, Clay, Joanne, and Jared worked tirelessly on getting us the best rate we could get.

This was our first time buying a home so it was bit scary sometimes. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable which made the process a lot easier. We used them for finding our mortgage and home insurance. Both ended up being great deals.

We found our dream home but needed to close in 20 days. And we did! Clay is exceptional. It was around tax time and I needed to submit my business taxes as proof of income. My CPA couldn't get my taxes filed in time so Clay introduced me to his CPA, who completed my taxes within one day (on a Sunday before the tax deadline!) His CPA is now officially mine. JoAnne, our mortgage loan processor, is a rockstar. She was responsive and always answered my emails within minutes, no matter what time of day. We had purchased our last home 20 years ago so we were essentially newbies. I needed her to educate me on a lot of the processes and fees and she did with enthusiasm and knowledge. She sent out updates and stayed on top of each party to ensure they followed through on their responsibilities. Bonus: there's something about the way she writes her emails...I can see her smiling behind her words. Any hiccups were overshadowed by the star power of Clay and JoAnne. Once we entered the closing process, it was seamless. We couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a mortgage company that shows a sense of urgency but takes great care every step of the way, do not hesitate to use American Mortgage Services.
