We have been an ADT clients for several years. They are very poor in communications. After the new company EVERON took over they are the worst company. Their Commercial Customer Service, Bill Department are the worse. We had to wait 30-45 minutes to talk to someone. If any problems to recity then no body is willing to help.
It is terrial.

I have used ADT for the past 7 years. I wanted to upgrade my panel to a touch screen so that I could also access my alarm system on my phone. ADT Tampa sales came out and I explained what I wanted to do with the upgrade. They showed me the panel and the functions. Sales setup the date for the install and then the installation guy didn't show up on the day they were scheduled due to ADT scheduling entering it on the wrong week. When the installation guy showed up it he was on his cell phone talking the entire time until I finally told him that he was going to have to finish up. The panel installed did not have all the functions that I was sold and now there is no response from these guys to fix it.

The installation of our new ADT security system for our home which included (7)outdoor cameras and several entrances did not meet our expectations. For starters, Jason Rosen our sales representative met the techs to discuss the job and all the areas of installation before 9am on Friday, March 22. One of the installers showed up after nine and the other tech got to our home after 11am. To begin with these (2) techs did not work well together. They seemed experienced but they were not seasoned professionals. As time went by, one tech had finished his wiring and set up job at the panel inside the house while the other tech worked outside installing the (7) cameras on the house. The inside tech finished and didn’t assist much with the tech outside with camera mounting so he left for lunch for over an hour. When he came back he literally took and siesta and fell asleep in our study and was snoring ?vicariously until we informed the other techto wake him up. After this incident they completed the job that took until 6:15 that evening to complete. They left and never cleaned up after their work, leaving empty boxes of trash and leaving a panel exposed with wires open and the cover with screws left on the floor. Our garage door was never integrated into the ADT system at all and they couldn’t figure out what to rectify for that situation. As far as I’m concerned these guys should be reprimanded and charged back for the fee they were paid for the hours worked performing this new install. It shouldn’t have taken 10 hours to perform this service with an experienced ADT professional. If this is any indication of future service from your Tampa regional location, I am having great reservations of choosing ADT to replace the previous security system we had in our home. Our neighbors recommended ADT to us, now I wish we would have considered other options for our home.ps: we got no explanation or any direction from these (2) goons of how to use the new system. They could have cared less!!!

My mother’s alarm wasn’t working for 11 months and ADT didn’t inform her or give her a refund. Gives a false idea that she had security that her home was protected.

They are lie, for every thing, I called and asked for appointment with technician, no body called me the woman who I talked to , lied and did not set any appointment for me. Now is about two weeks I don’t have the camera and no body cares. Every day I talk to three people and just hear lies. I really got tired of this nonsense. Their customer service are some stupid women that don’t know anything about technical support, just waist of time. My system is not working and no body cares just they get their monthly bill.

ADT is THE WORST company to do business with. I DO NOT recommend using them for your security system services. They have the worst communication and customer service. I have been fighting with them for 5 months on getting a refund on items that they removed from my property 5 months ago. I would pick any company over ADT to work with.

Sales people will not stop coming. At the point where it's annoying that they come late in the evening. Just get the runaround when call to ask them too stop harassment. What don't they understand..pls stop!!

I would give zero stars if I could. I wanted to cancel our service. I was forced to call as this could not be done online. I was placed on hold for approximately 45 minutes. When I finally spoke with a rep I was told that even though ADT cannot get our system to work properly (we cannot trust that when we leave the house and activate the system, that it won't go off when there is no break-in happening). Every time we leave the house the alarm goes off! We therefore have not used it for months and months. We have had several techs come out to fix it and they cannot. Even though we cannot get the system to work properly, we are still being charged under a "3 year contract" that we were tied into during COVID, and we now have been charged hundreds of dollars "cancel". I would understand holding to the contract if the system actually worked. But it does not work, we cannot get it to work after multiple techs coming out, and we are still charged. This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Part of my job is assisting others to relocate and I would never recommend ADT, in fact, I encourage people to stay away from ADT and direct them towards other alarm system providers.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! We ordered a $422 security system. I signed the contract online. We were told the system would be $900 max. The system was installed while I was not at home. My elderly husband was present. He really enjoyed talking politics with the installer and did not even realize that he was being snowed. If you do hire this company, watch everything they do like a hawk and make sure that the person home during the install is paying attention to the work order, not to the chit chat. YOU WILL NOT BE SHOWN THE WORK ORDER! You will just be told to sign the signature line on the ipad, without the work order ever being shown to you. That’s how they get you. All the changes and upgrades are listed in the work order, including a year of monitoring in advance that we did not ask for.I received a copy of the work order the following day by email. Imagine my surprise when over $2400 was charged to my credit card. The prices of the sensors had doubled from what I had agreed to on the contract. Remote key fobs which I said I did not want were given to my husband. We have 5 fire alarm monitors direct wired in our house, still, two more were installed. The price of the monitoring was upped to $50.39 a month, different from the price in the contract.When we talked to the salesman we asked if the system monitoring was done in the US because we both have some hearing loss that makes overseas phone connections difficult to hear and to understand. This was important to us. He assured my husband that the company was US based. We found out on our first phone call to ADT that we were first routed to India.In spite of having called to complain and open a case to have the system removed within 3 days, we have heard nothing back from the local branch. They do not have a public working phone number and our installer has not responded to emails or messages. We have talked to 8 people at ADT so far, but they just redirect our call to someone else who redirects our call. We have a case number but can not find out what is going on with our case because NO ONE KNOWS.This is the worst, most dishonest experience we have ever had with a business. We are in our 70’s and I think the installer just thought he could get away with this because my husband did not know how to creat a login and password. To me, it verges on elder abuse, and most certainly, fraudulent practices.I got home as the installer was leaving. He told me to have a blessed day.

Attempting to call to get a simple question answered is like pulling teeth. Even the direct office line goes to the 800 line. I just want to know if after cancellation, do you come and uninstall your equipment, including panel? we do not want any further charges.

I have my home secured with ADT, and I also bought into their ATV VISION PLAN to monitor the outside of my home. I have had nothing but problems with the ATV vision plan. I should be able to see the complete perimeter of my home but the cameras keep going out. Even though, I have a warranty on this "new" system they installed, the cameras continue to malfunction. We have had no storms in my area so it is odd that they continue to have to be replaced. However, you have to pay ADT $69.00 to come out and replace the bulbs. I talked with Greg, who is the support admin for ATV software. According to him there is nothing wrong on their end and can not explain why my cameras keep going out. I refuse to continue to pay them to replace the cameras that are only a year old. So right now I do not have a full perimeter of my home. Their customer service personnel are rude, they put you on hold continuously - sometimes 45 minutes to an hour. The ADT people do not know how to help or assist you with the ATV Vision system so you are on hold with ATV trying to figure out why the system does not work. The system is faulty and problematic. They can have the ATV vision box back, I am ready to work with a reputable company. I am almost over my ADT contract for my home, I will not renew with ADT for nothing ever again. I will pay for a perimeter system that continues to break. I will not keep giving them money to come out here to replace the bulbs. It is obviously something wrong with the wiring of the bulbs that ADT installed. When they give me a working system then I will pay them. I even talked to a manager with a (865) area code regarding the consistent problems with the camera with no luck, she acted as if she did not care. I will not pay for nothing, come and get your ATV box and your faulty cameras. Stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst customer service and biggest group of idiots I have ever delt with. There is not a single person there that can help me to get my camera system fixed! Do not use ADT
