I've always shopped at our local abc liquor but your company has lost about 5 valued customers this week. I've never had an experience like I did yesterday, the person at checkout was unacceptable. I'll take my business to Total Wine.

I will never step foot in this store again. I was shopping with my husband and we had our teenage daughter with us. We got to the check out to pay and the employee asked for our ID. I started to pull mine out and she stated she needed to see my husband’s ID and my daughter’s as well. I told her ‘this is my daughter she is 15’ and she said she could not sell us anything in the store because ‘your daughter was actively shopping in the store’. My daughter had picked out some sour candy and some pretzels! SHOPPING would mean my daughter had money and was purchasing items. I have never been treated like this at a store. This woman treated us like criminals who were supplying our own daughter with alcohol! What is wrong with people? Instead I was supposed to leave her in a hot car alone? We went across town to Total Wine and were greeted kindly and NO one treated us like this. Maybe educate your employees about ACTUAL state laws because I assure you we did nothing to warrant not selling to us.
Update: It is not illegal to shop with your kids in a store that sells alcohol. There were other people in your store WITH children and of course those children did not have ID's either. Stop discriminating based on the skin color of some of your patrons. I have family in law enforcement and you are not established to enforce laws, nor protect minors by what you are doing. Don't pat yourself on the back for doing good work, that is laughable!

Been a patron here for quite some time, I won't say how long though... I have to say ABC has all of my beverage needs covered. Whether it's grapes, wheat, corn, or other assorted vegetables it's all covered. The store is large and setup so that everything is sorted by type and name. It makes looking for specific items easy. If you can't find what you need, the employees will help you find it. The store does have a cooler in the back that houses cold beer and wine coolers. There is also a humidor if cigars light your fire. One nice thing is you can order items online and pickup in store or have them delivered. This makes it easy NOT to get hit with a DUI. No excuses! So definitely a place I would shop at for spirit needs. Don't forget your glasware and mixers as well while you're here. By the way, if you like sweet dessert wines, I'd highly recommend the Inniskillin Ice Wine!

The guy who was checking us out was completely rude and was not trying to serve us because my grandmother has a puerto rico id and he couldnt find her date of birth and when we entered the store he followed us and asked if we were over 21 and had ids when we asked him what it was about he says he does it to everyone but there were multiple ppl in store he did not do that too and then said we were making fun of him when we were pointing to where the date of birth was on the id. we walked out without buying anything cause the service was absolutely disgusting
