I was referred to this office by a friend. Mr. Reid was very unprofessional and rude, he was on the phone the entire time I was in his office ordering lunch and speaking on the phone. He ignored me the whole time I was there. When I called the day before to schedule my appointment he already sound like I was begging him to do my taxes. He advice me to not be late due to COVID restrictions I must be on time so I show up ten minutes before my schedule time and had to wait for an hour. The receptionist is not welcoming at all and spoke Spanish. After waiting for an hour he finally called me In his office to file my taxes. I told him I came for a second opinion because I had previously went somewhere else and I wanted to see what another tax agent said and he got extremely mad about what I said. His exact words “I don’t like people going around looking for numbers, I go by the books! I have this office since 2007 And you have to pay me for my service even if I don’t submit your documents!” This man started yelling at me and told me to get out his office... I didn’t know I would be penalized for looking around at different prices. Then he said he gonna hold on to my Id and other documents if I don’t pay him now! I said I don’t have any money what are you going to do hold me hostage.. he said yes In a nasty way so I said ok keep my ID and SSN cards for my daughter and I. He threw them at me and said here take them I don’t want them and get out my office now! When I was walking away I could hear him calling me names And talking. Bottom line, I didn’t go there looking for a higher return I went there base on the price that he told me he charge which is $175. However, I heard him on the phone telling another customer he would charge her $160. I’m Jamaica and I’m use to old Jamaica man speaking to women nasty because that’s the culture and bragging about themselves, but I would not recommend this office to do your taxes. Go somewhere else if you can.
