The store closes at ten yet @ 9:45 the doors are locked.. I was knocking on the door and the owner pretended he didn’t see me or hear me. Why are you open if your customer service is trash? Everything in that store is out of date and he doesn’t care. He sells things that are cheaper else where. Health inspection needs to happen sooner than later. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Food is good, price is decent, and service is good too. Sandra especially is amazing, she is polite, welcoming, and gets everything I need in a jiffy.

Horrible experience don't go to this store they are rude it looks like they don't want to work and they treat people like garbage! Just because I asked for the numbers on the scratch off they screamed at me !something they are supposed to do. Don't buy lotto or just don't buy anything! They don't deserve not even 1 star

This might be the nicest Winn-Dixie I've ever visited and or shopped at. This is a central location in Tamarac pretty busy since we are in the midst of a ton of senior developments. The place is super clean no matter what time you visit. It is indeed very large as well but organized like none other. The store feature a hot deli counter fully stocked, a bakery , a sea food area, a full meat department, a full fruit and veggies department, a florist area, and also a large full kosher department. Aside from your regular day to day items the different departments are a large bonus. This area is full of different people with all types of eating preferences and this suites everyone well. The staff here is very nice and helpful. I love the fact you can make shopping a family event it has your average shopping cart and mini carts for the kiddies (Super Cute!). The deals are your average weekly ads but this location does alot of times has specialty deals which I feel is geared towards the area and its shoppers which is awesome. The customer service area is nice and moves very prompt. My most recent visit was yesterday 3.16.18 around 10 am the line was quite long for a early morning. But it was managed properly by the staff and we moved quickly and also the manger opened another lane totaling 3. This area can get very busy due to it being a retirement area and a lot of times the shopper come in groups by buses. I love it here the people are nice I am a chatter so I meet a lot of nice people. I would recommend it to any and everyone.

The only thing that's safe to buy here is lottery tickets. The snacks I bought were stale, the ice cream was moldy. The store is dark and dingy. I went in after knee surgery and the moron behind the counter just pointed me towards the back of the store and never came around to help me. It's a shame, with the huge population in this area a clean well lit convince store with fresh food would do well.

So I called this Winn Dixie to find out if they carry a particular item in the meat department. I called from in front of my house and waited 3 mins with no answer. I decided to drive there, while on hold. I got there (still on hold) and walked in the store and went to the meat dept, picked up what I wanted. While in the store someone came on the line "can I help you" I said I'm holding for meat Dept. He said hold on.... while I was in checkout I heard them page meat dept to pickup the phone. Another minute went by before someone picked up the phone!! By that time I hung up paid for my item and left. If publix had what I wanted I would have NEVER come to Winn Dixie in a million years! But desperate times.... if I could give 0 stars I would give negative 0. Btw I was on hold for 13 mins 47 secs. Got home and the chicken smells like rotten eggs!!

This is my local Winn-Dixie and I have been shopping here for years. They always bring a good selection of fresh vegetables, roots and fruits. Their floral department has been well kept for years. Their meats, hormone-free poultry, and wild caught fish is always fresh and prices are affordable. Among all of the frozen foods and other gluten-free products that I like, they continue to add new things to their Kosher section too. I really like their new WD brand paper towel and their ethnic food section. Their prices remain lower than the competitors in my neighborhood. The customer service has always been "meh," but they are changing things to offer their customers more open lines and a better all around shopping experience. Time is money, as the adage goes, and you can save a few bucks here, but if you have to stand in line a long time because only one register is open and they no longer offer self-checkout, that can be a costly trip for a few items before dinner! Tonight was the case and for this reason, I cannot give five stars. They have to open more lines. That said, we were checked by Toya. She was pleasant, quick, and bagged all our items well into my cloth bag. Most cashiers don't know how to do that and want to use one or two more plastic bags, which I don't like to use. All together, I like my Winn-Dixie in Tamarac and hope they continue to sharpen the CS skills of the managers and associates, and improve in every area. What I'm happiest about is that tonight, I saved $11.48 with my Plenti card!
