Very disappointed. My experience was very very bad. Movers just dumped the boxes and furniture in my living room. They did not assemble the furniture. Broke a lot of my stuff. The movers cussed at me when I asked them to take the furniture upstairs. They started extorting too asking for more money. Would never ever recommend them.
Update: No resolution yet. I am planning to take them to small claims court to recoup my damages.

Lied, lied, lied. I have an independent contractor picking up my stuff everything I told him was on the list. He admitted they asked me if I had glass table top. I said yes, I do. They asked me if there was a mirror on my dresser, I said yes there is Mover gets here and says oh yeah we have to charge to wrap those worst company, I ever dealt with and they just don’t care they made it very clear. They just don’t care.

I’d give them zero, and intend to pursue them legally. This is the worst mover - don’t hire them if you care about your things, but more importantly don’t hire them if you care about customer service and about how they treat you. They are disrespectful, dishonest, negligent and plain unprofessional. They will do wrong by you while giving you lip service.
Keep away from them like you would the plague.

Do not ever think about using this absolutely awful moving company. Upon booking a month in advance, we were giving 2 pickup dates only to be told (literally a day before) that they would not honor either of those dates. Then we were told to basically deal with it and were giving 0 compensation. Mind you, we made a $1770 deposit and were also told we would not receive any of it back. Erick, the supervisor was awful and rude.

This was my 27th move since I was married. This is the first time I have used Colonial Van Lines and I was very pleased with their service. The driver and the packers worked very hard and fast. At the same time they were very professional with all the wrapping and clean up.

I would recommend Colonial Van Lines to anyone. They were extremely helpful for my recent move from NY to Florida. My coordinator and my dispatcher were in communication with me as they said they would. I was never left wondering what was going on. Thank you everyone involved, especially Colin and Viviane for making everything so easy for me.

BEWARE!!!! OF THIS COMPANY!!!!
I have yet to receive my belongings! This is my third move in five years all out of state. I used cheaper companies in the past with no incident NONE. I didn’t want to take a chance with my move back home boy did I screw up. Don’t believe the salesperson! This company can’t handle long distance moves.
I will have to inform law enforcement then contact an attorney so Beware! They will make your life miserable!

I had originally used Colonial Van Lines in the past for my moving needs and the complany did an excellent job, so I decided to use them again for a recent move. Well... this time they did a horrific job with my current move so far. First of all, they were late (by two days) picking up my boxes and furniture for this current move. Second of all, I've been waiting almost two weeks for my delivery, and they still haven't showed up. The company says they will offer me financial compensation for the late delivery depending on how late my stuff gets here to my new home. Additionally, I am still waiting for my things to arrive. I am so frustrated with this company. DO NOT USE THEM! Just an FYI, the company subcontracts your move out to another company. This time, my move was subcontracted to JR Moving company--horrible company. I don't know what to do to get my things delivered, and I'm so upset as I alluded to above. Thanks for reading this review.

Horrible experience. They make all the promises in the world to sell you then it all goes down hill. I was given a delivery eta of Aug 4-6. Everyday they give us a different story, Today they told us they wouldn't be here until the 19th. They picked up our furniture on Aug. 1. When you ask to speak to a manager they say you can't and you will get a call back in 24 to 48 hours. DO NOT use this company if you need your furniture to arrive at any given time. Update. According to the companies response they assigned a resolution manager and left a number for me to call. I have called 3 times and go straight to voicemail. Left message and no call back in 24hours.

We will be giving negative reviews of Colonial on every site we can find to prevent others from having the same horrible experience we did. I do not have time to list every single thing they did wrong but please believe me - this company is not customer-focused. Do not listen to the sales people when they try to lure you in. They suck.

I chose to use Colonial for a cross country move because my friend had recently used them and had a great experience, and mine was no different. My dedicated customer service rep was responsive, communicative, on time-- everything went so smoothly! 10/10 would highly recommend.

I moved from Los Angeles to Tampa with Colonial Van Lines and was very pleased -- everything arrived, nothing was damaged, and it all happened in just over a week. Annie Boyer at Colonial was a pleasure to work with.

Colonial Van Lines was an excellent service for me when I made my out-of-state move! I would recommend to anyone looking for the people that go above-and-beyond!
