The most amazing resort for our puppy! We went through so many and finally came to Arfington via a recommendation even if we travel from Miami (45min). Family operated by real dog lovers and trainers (what is very important) we can not be thankful enough how much love and care they give to our cancer ill dog. She is coming sometimes for short stays but sometimes has to stay for once month or longer and she is coming home happy healthy like she never left. In the past our dog was in the hotels operated by people who just worked there and not really were concerned about the babies. Besides of this the prices are the best in the south Florida. And our dog gets a free bath which is also worth $100 considering her size.

Arfington Pet Resort is simply fantastic! They treat our dog like a member of their own family, and that's something truly special. Our pups absolutely adore being there, and it's clear that the love and care they receive make it their favorite place. If you're looking for an amazing pet resort where your furry companions will be cherished, Arfington is the place to go!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Our two dogs were booked for a long weekend stay (9/7 - 9/11) at Arfington Pet Resort. It was going to be their first stay since COVID, well because nobody traveled then. We booked well in advance in May. Nobody reached out to us to explain this was going to be a problem. I called Tuesday to verify our reservation, and even then, no mention was made of their stay being an issue. We arrived this morning, and was greeted by Reachel. The dogs were so excited to be there. We leave, again thinking there wasn't an issue. Two minutes later, we get an angry phone call from Cristian who now, at the last minute, rejected our dogs to stay. On the telephone he said the dogs bit Reachel, which was highly usual since our dogs have never bitten anyone in the 7 years, we have had them, not on walks and not in our home. On the telephone we explained they were excited to be there and just wanted to have zoomies outside with the other dogs. Cristian, said we had to come back to settle them down and if we didn't, he would use a rabies stick on our dogs. We were shocked by his demeanor and quickly returned to Arfington. The front of the entrance is all glass, and before we even entered our dogs were chill and relaxed, tails a waging. We entered Christian handed the dog leads to us and stated they were not watching our dogs, period. In that moment we knew Christian had lied to us on the telephone. He didn't want us to settle the dogs down at all, he wanted us to take the dogs back home! When we tried to explain the jam Arfington was placing us in, Cristian accused us of caring more about our trip than our dogs. He said look at them they are stressed out; they won't eat or drink for me if they stay. I looked at our dogs and saw that they were perfectly fine. He crossed the line when he told us that he cared about our dogs more than we did. We've owned our dogs for over 7 years and I have no idea how he could say that. It was obvious to us that both Reachel and Christin are in way over their heads. They seem to have little to no staff that we could see. It was well after 8 am when this occurred and all of the dogs were still inside. Not one dog was running in the play areas. With the previous owners the dogs would have all been outside by this time of the morning. The previous owners as always have enough staff on hand to handle the number of pets being cared for. It was very clear that there was no reasoning with Christian, his anger went from 0 to 100 in 1 millisecond. After this incident and after reading other reviews about Arfington's poor Customer service we will never use their service and we strongly recommend that you find another location to take care of your beloved dogs.

It’s so sad everytime I have to travel without my Luna. I travel 3-5 times a year. Arfington gives me so much peace of mind. They post or send pictures of her so I know she’s having a good time. The owners are the most genuine and caring people. If I could give more stars I would.

I can tell you from experience this is a very good establishment. The owners are very nice and more importantly my Dodge had a very good time. Their pricing is reasonable and their communication is excellent. If you are looking for a nice place for your pup this is the go to spot for my family going forward. Thank you Arfington. See you guys soon!

My dog, Toby, has been going to the Arfington Per Resort shortly after his 1st rabies shot at 14 weeks. He is always excited to get off my car to go inside the Arfington facility, which is a great sign and confirmation that my baby is in good hands. Toby is now two years and four months old; I have no worries when Toby is at the Pet Resort. Christian and Raechel will care for him like he is their furbaby. The facility is clean, and the amenities are perfect for my baby to enjoy his boarding stay. I highly recommend Arfington Pet Resort to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and training place for furbabies.

Hard to give a certain number of stars as this place didn't work out.We had high hopes. Unfortunate, as we thought it's a really neat idea. I called a few times, spoke with the wife of the owner team as far as I knew. She was nice. We stopped by to check it out, and I had to go to the bathroom. They said they don't have bathrooms for humans. Then the guy took our little dog, and moved the leash from the harness to the collar. I asked him why. He said the dog may slip out of the harness. The dog had never slipped out from the harness before.Although I thought that was presumptuous, I went along with it. Then he said "I'm going to show your dog around". He didn't ask, which I also thought was presumptuous.Since he's a stranger to us, I asked if I will be able to see where he's taking him. We don't know who he is, and I would think he'd understand our hesitation, as we are naturally protective. He said I couldn't go with the dog, so I asked if I'll be able to see the dog at all times. Then he gave our dog back, and said "it's not going to work out".And while not having a public bathroom was a turn off, I would have been fine if he would have asked before he did things, and explained things better, versus presuming.

Boutique Dog Training & Day Care Resort for Energetic PuppyIt is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Arfington Pet Resort. Arfington is a family owned, boutique pet resort that offers effective dog training and day care. We started to look for a dog trainer when our energetic, Parson Russell Terrier, puppy (Zoe) was more than we had anticipated as we were preparing for the arrival of our newborn baby. The initial dog training did not work since it was based on positive reinforcement with treats; Zoe made the association between commands and treats, and she decided that she would not obey when there were no treats. This is when we looked for an alternative and found Arfington Pet Resort and Christian (amazing trainer). We saw a difference in Zoe from day one. Christian gave us the tools to continue with effective training at home that was based on lease correction and obeying the commands on demand out of respect and not because of treats. Zoe loves Christian and going to Arfington Pet Resort. Initially, she did not like to go to the water but now she enjoys playing in the water with the other dogs. Our friends and family members have all seeing the notable improvement. We had visited dog day cares in the past, but it was not something we would consider. Arfington Pet resort is different. They offer day care and training combo. It is spotless clean, and the dogs play outside according to their size. Zoe gets her training in between her play time daily. We are planning on having Christian come to our home next so we can continue with some onsite training sessions and to help Zoe get comfortable with our pool. We highly recommend this place for any family that is looking for effective dog training and play time for their dog.

HORRIBLE PLACE. NIGHTMARE. It's a husband and wife team. I picked up by two dogs who were given back to me soaking wet. When I asked for them to be dried the large man who is the owner told me no and asked that I leave. I refused until they got dried and he began yelling at me to leave. He eventually threatened to fight me. These people are disgusting. If this is how they treated me, I can't imagine how horribly they treat our pets. I will make sure NO ONE leaves their precious pets with these monsters.
