Definitely will not be going back to this establishment. I rather get my hair done out someone house. Inquired about waist length box braids was told the price was $250 with a $25 deposit. Then I explained and texted the colors I wanted. I wasn’t informed until my appointment that the salon doesn’t mix colors. I honestly feel like that’s something you tell someone before they send a deposit because I would have found someone else to do my hair. So once there I changed my entire hairstyle to corn rows and changed my color. I asked her the price for corn rows she stated $170 for the length I wanted and I simply said cool. So once the appointment was over I gave her the remaining money in cash $145! She was still saying I owe her more money and I said no I don’t very calm. Then she stated next time I would have to pay the remaining.
News flash there definitely won’t be a next time because I be dam if I ever pay $170 again for 6 corn row braids!!!!!!!!!
Not sure how this place is still in business! The braids aren’t neat or professional considering how long this business has been in Tallahassee. It looks like a high school student played in my hair. I don’t like or support money hungry businesses that take advantage of hard working individuals.
Update: July 2, 2024: had to remove my 6 braids today; I couldn’t even wear them a month. Her braids gave me blisters and they were to tight in the back and pulling other unnecessary strands on hair I’m reporting this shop to DBPR.

I asked for a sew in with no leave out and I told her beforehand I had a closure piece no problem.. she says her shop was closed the day I asked so she offered to do it at her house (clear across town from where I was and where I live) she originally told me it would be 120 when I got there and asked she said 150 luckily I bring extra money for that reason smh then she never sewed my closure down all the way and put edge control over the lace and said to cover it with edges. And said she doesn’t like glue but I truthfully couldn’t use glue bc the lace that’s left is over my hair. So after 2 days my tracks start coming out, I text her and asked her to fix it and sew the closure down. Long story short my closure still looking crazy and I will take my service elsewhere. And all ima say is if you gone come to this empty shop do it at your own risk…

I called inquiring about the cost of tree braids. I was told $210. A few days later, I went in to pay my deposit. I asked her again about the cost and was told $230. I then asked about the cost if I brought in my own hair, and she repeated $230. I was thinking that the cost she quoted me over the phone was if I supplied my own hair. I asked her again, and she said $230. I then asked her what is the cost if I used her hair, and she said $250. I think she was a little annoyed with me because she started talking to the other lady in her native tongue. I asked her about cornrows, and she then gave me a price of $230. I showed her two different simple styles, and she said that she couldn't do it like that and proceeded to tell me what she could do instead. I was okay with it and paid my $25 deposit. After reading the reviews, I will cancel my appointment because, just like the reviews mentioned, Yande isn't consistent with her quotes. I am going to make an appointment elsewhere.

If I was the mayor I will definitely close this place down.For one they have bags on trash in the back,The bathrooms dirty old tampon’s,The stylish are very rude.I went there for a hair do and they was being rude as every.Yande should just close this shop down and go to a training class about business because them some rude heffas in there.they braid tights and somebody was in the back Smoking weed because it smelt like a blunt had been lite prior to opening.Bad place to go.Go to Ballys even tho they be pack a lot just try to get in there.

I had a hairstylist cancel on me last minute and I called every braider In Tallahassee hoping to get a last minute appointment in. She was the only one who did and was very professional and nice. My hair was done in under 5 hours and she made sure I liked it! Can I just say… the neatness and attention to detail with my hair was everything! Highly recommend shopping with her! Plus hair was provided! Definitely going back!
