Great Service, Poor Vehicle PresentationI recently rented a cargo van from U-Haul after a disappointing experience at the FSU location. The pickup process at this location was improved, thanks to Marcellus, owner ? (apologies if misspelled), who was exceptionally helpful, making the process quick and smooth.Unfortunately, the positive experience took a hit when I inspected the assigned cargo van. The vehicle had an unpleasant smell, and it was evident that the cargo area hadn't been cleaned. There were debris and trash inside, including tissue paper. While the customer service was commendable, the presentation of the vehicle fell significantly below expectations.In summary, the efficiency of the staff was notable, but the lack of cleanliness in the assigned cargo van was a letdown. I hope U-Haul takes steps to ensure better vehicle conditions for future customers.

Staff is very friendly. I was caught up to a register as soon as I walked in the door and I was out with the keys. Unless than 5 minutes I definitely will be returning

Very big difference since my last rental of uhaul while I lived in Brandon. Rental is clean and they did offer to hook the auto transport, but did not walk us throught the inspection process and orientation on the auto transport.

This specific location has always had what I need when I needed it the most always helpful and polite the equipment is always clean. My only issue is when I do the after hour pickup I always have the hardest time unlocking the lock Overall this place absolutely the best and highly recommend it for all your rental needs . Thank you

Times are tough for Uhaul. The district managers don’t work in stores so they go down to the most desolate corner of Tallahassee to find the rudest, most unprofessional, ignorant, disingenuous, selfish, uneducated specimens that can spell their name to manage their Uhaul locations. These fine specimen new hire managers are given free rein to hire their friends with the highest number of felony convictions so they can pay them $0.50 over minimum wage. They are NOT paid to speak or exhaust themselves. Thankfully, the people closest to me don’t even know such people exist. We also stay out of Wal-Mart and only order from them online.

I requested to pick up a truck with 5 dozen blankets, 2 dolly's at 7 AM Sunday before you opened at 9 AM.. I get there about 7:30 and panicked when I was told I needed someone to verify me (as the other options were not possible). Thankfully I was able to get through that and then when I went to the lockbox to get the truck keys, your app froze and I couldn't get the lockbox # and code despite searching all over once I logged back in. I then had to figure out how to call your customer service for assistance. The lockbox code was already set with the code so someone could have grabbed the keys and stole it. I get in the back of the truck which was unlocked also and it was missing the blankets and dolly's. Maybe someone already stole those. I waited over an hour for your store to open. A guy walked up and asked me what's up (unprofessional). I explained to him what I needed. He said oh no and went inside as it was 12 minutes prior to opening. Another guy finally comes up at 5 min after opening and goes in, then comes back and opens the door. I went to the first guy I had seen at the counter and he was playing with his phone. I reminded him I was missing blankets and dolly's and my movers were waiting for me at the storage facility. He didn't say a thing but I got the impression he wanted me to follow him out to the garage to get the supplies. I grabbed the dolly's and took them out to the truck. I had to go back to the garage and help the guy get the blankets. He shorted me 1/2 dozen but no big deal as.I let him know so hopefully he won't think I shorted him. This experience proves you must not pay well enough to get quality people. This store is at the very least, a lost prevention nightmare. Oh and never an I'm sorry or anything this store. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor. And I was nice, normally I would be a raging b**** in this type of situation.

I was assisted by a U-Haul Team Member by the name of Riggs. He was very helpful and assisted me with bring in the "To-Go" plastic moving boxes. He got my payment processed very quickly and was very courteous and professional. I will definitely return to this location for my future moving needs.

I rented a uhaul from Tampa to Tallahassee and drop it off at Tennessee street location, I was charged $545 for a 15" uhaul plus my son put$96 in gas to fill it up when I returned it I was charged 125 from my bank account for what I don't know because it was rented out right after I returned it so I'm being charged someone else fee! I contacted uhaul and was told it was for gas that's just can't be true I will never use uhaul again I have used them over 20 years but this is just too much I would give them no stars if I could my bank is disputed my account now! Be aware!

First off this was my first time ever using Uhaul so I didn’t know exactly how it worked! But, When your customers walk in maybe you all should greet them instead of taking about having children and not ending the conversation when a customer came in. They were talking so loud . I stood there for about 3mins before anyone said anything to me, mind you they seen me come in through the main entrance looked me directly in the face and kept on with their conversations as if I didn’t need to be waited on. The young lady had to get off her telephone call to help me when it was 3 other workers standing around taking about having babies and marriage! Furthermore, nor did they inform me on how mileage just 0.89 per mile, I found out afterwards that I could have gotten unlimited ! Other than that I’m sure the service would’ve been better!

DO NOT EVER RESERVE WITH THIS UHAUL!!! I wish I could give legitimately 0 stars. My partner and I were preparing for our move down to South Florida and we were told to pick up our truck from this location. We get our keys and one of the workers points us to our truck. On the piece of paper it said the mileage for the truck was 90620 and had half a tank. When we got in the truck the mileage was at 91190 and our gas was at a quarter of a tank. LUCKILY my partner took a time stamped picture and called the store and they said “it’ll be fine, just let them know at the store you drop it at that it was our fault.” So we drive down racking in around 370 miles even though we were covered for almost 500 miles and returned it and let the workers at our new store know what this store said. A week later we get a text saying we have outstanding charges on our uhaul and go to view them and they’re trying to charge us for 1,007 miles on the truck and half a tank of gas. Moral of the story: save yourself the stress and book a uhaul somewhere else.

I could not reach a person when calling, when i got to the location there was 3 people at the desk- 2 were on the phone and the other sat there. As i waited about 15-20 minutes another customer came in and we were just standing there. After I returned my vehicle on time and short of my mileage calculator, I checked my account and saw a double charge pending.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. So hard to get through on the phone because your constantly being put on hold. I patiently waited because I know UHaul can get busy, but after 30 mins the call disconnects and then you don't answer the phone?! I'll give it one because I have to and for the one time that I was able to get through today. Spoke to the new manager whom seemed nice and was professional. We will see if things get better.

I have always had a good experience here, but the last rental upon return took forever, The guy was rude and took his sweet time to check me in while it was raining. The windshield wipers would not turn off when I returned and I was interrogated by the return person and made me feel like I was lying and had created the problem. I have rented from this location on quite a few occasions, but after this will not rent from U-Haul again. It seemed like a new management and staff had started as it was very unorganized and the manger watched as this all happened and seem to encourage it.
