Almost a grand for alternator and battery! Plus labor of course. I know I could have had it done less expensively, but with having it towed in and work done within hours, I was impressed.

My family and I have been going to Tuffy's for all our vehicle needs for years now, but I can confidently say that I will not be returning after my recent experience.
I went in for a routine oil change on Thursday, and when I got my car back, I immedietly noticed that my car sounded different. Later that day, as I started to drive more, the inside of my car started to smell like oil.
On Friday, the smell still persisted, so I popped my hood open. Whoever did my oil change had left the cap of the oil tank on the complete opposite side of the car, and oil was splattered everywhere. My dip stick came up completly dry, and I was stranded until I was able to have a friend bring me more oil. When I called the shop to tell them what happened, I was spoken to in a very condesending tone, with them claiming that there was no possible way that there was no oil left after only a day and a half. I finally brought it back to the shop, where they told me they would redo the oil change and clean the car out. When they told me that I was good to go, I checked inside, and my hands were immedietly covered in oil again, as they clearly did not clean it out very well. They was still oil left all over the inside of the hood, and oil was actively dripping out of the front grille. I also had to demand a refund to be offered any form of compensation, which was offered in the form of another free oil change. Absolutely no one in the shop seemed to treat the situation with any sense of urgency, despite their mistake being potentially life threatening.
I went back to the shop on Saturday morning, to once again demand a refund, as I do not plan on coming back for my next oil change. I was told to come back on Monday, since that was when their manager would be in. I then had to spend the next hour and a half cleaning out the rest of the oil that had been dripping out of my car since the day before.
I came back Monday morning, was told that the manager was on break, and he would be back in half an hour. I came back half an hour later, for him to simply take my information down, and send an email to the owner to see if he would approve the refund. Why no one else in the store could do that in any of my previous visits, I do not know.
I still have not been issued a refund, nor has anyone in the shop apologized for almost permanetly damaging my car, or straight up killing me. I just do not understand why I am having to jump through so many hoops to get a refund, when they are the ones who messed up an oil change, quite possibly one of the most simple procedures I could've asked them to do. I feel that getting my money back is not outlandish in this situation, and yet they are treating it as if it is. I may as well have paid them $60 to pour oil directly on my engine, or even just leave the tank empty so I wouldn't have had to deal with the clean up.
I have had no issues with them in the past, but this whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I plan to do everything in my power to stay far, far away. I do not like treating workers with hostility and I do my best to be understanding, but this has pushed me to the absolute edge.
I was finally able to get my refund today (Tuesday). However, when they called me to let me know that my check was ready, I was asked to take down this review since it "really hurt" them. It also really hurt my car when it was covered in oil, which seems more important to me personally.

This used to be an awesome shop. But I must say since Don left it's just not the same. Today I went in to have a driver seat side control panel installed on my wife's car. They did the work quickly and at basic labor rate since I had the part, but they didn't install it right. As soon as we opened the door we could see it was wrong. It was painfully obvious, because you could se the wiring for the switches. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to do it right. I told one of the people working the front desk (Buck) and he got someone to fix it. 45 minutes later we're done. We checked the car and it was definitely correct this time. When I went in to pick up the key the only person there was Alan, and he didn't seem to eager to get my key. He acted like he'd rather be anywhere else. I told him I was very disappointed that the technician who did the work couldn't be bothered to make sure it was right. Again, it was painfully obvious the panel wasn't set correctly. He had nothing to say other than he'd tell the boss. He didn't sound very believable so I'm left to assume they won't do anything about it. A few months prior my car was in for service and one of the workers hit it. Bubba called and said it got "bumped", but when I asked for pics the images told a very different story. It was a solid hit. The quarter panel was creased and it separated from the mount, and my driver side door was pinched to the point it rubbed against the quarter panel every time it was opened or closed. They continued to maintain it was only bumped, and I continued to argue it was a solid hit that did real damage. They did take care of everything so that's good. But I had to call to get any updates. They'd tell me they would call me with status but rarely did. I had to call the body shop to get updates, and eventually a confirmation it was complete. I also recently had the AC compressor replaced, but barely a couple of weeks later I have no AC. This during one of the hottest times of the year. They inspected and found there was a leak, and they recharged the system. I question whether the work was done correctly. I had motor mounts replaced by them and the car now makes a groaning noise and vibrates, when there were never any before. When I told them about it they claimed they didn't notice anything. It's a clear noise and vibration so I fail to understand how they couldn't hear or feel it. I haven't taken it back to them because I've lost some trust. After today's visit I've decided to look for a new shop. It's sad because I've used them for years. I'm giving a 3 since there were a number of good years. Again, since Don left things have changed, and not for the better.

Be very careful with this location, I have a Chevy Camaro and I was told my engine was blown I got a second and 3rd opinion and found out the only problem was my battery cable was not connected.

Bubba, Buck, and the crew are great. They go above and beyond. They always make sure that my car remains in good condition and it is road ready when I'm leaving on a trip.

My Ac stopped working. I called and Allen told me to stop by. They tested it and it needed a compressor! They told me about their Car care plan, I left my car , they ordered the part, Allen gave me a ride home so I wouldn’t have to wait so long and Buck came in an hour early the next morning to get it repaired!! Works great!! They are the best! I recommend them to people all the time!

The worst customer service I have ever had come from a man named (bubba)???? I don't know if that's his real name but completely unprofessional & uncompassionate even if he is the manger he should treat people with respect and like humans he was nothing but rude and unhelpful then told me he's been working on cars 23 years and he's not the one with a car issue I am so I can find another place to fix it!! My family has been coming here for YEARS and this is the treatment we get ? then to be told I can't speak with anyone else and it's his show is crazy hanging up as I call is even crazier because he don't want to allow me to address this issue with someone else why would you tell me to take my business elsewhere when I want for the gentleman at Tuffy's to fix it ? WEVE never had this issue and to be treated the way we were is UNACCEPTABLE !!! IT DOES NOT COST TO HAVE COMPASSION .

My engine runs great but my upholstery is ruined thanks a lot!
They ruined my carpet as much as they could. Be sure to open the picture so you can see their envelope where it says "done right"?

Roadtripping from Orlando to Dallas with wife, 3y/o, and newborn. Noticed noise under hood. Went to Tuffy and mechanics were immediately able to identify the issue as bad water pump.
Brought car in next day at opening. Thanks to Allen, the efficiency and priority given our situation was unmatched. Had the job finished by 230pm.
Mechanics know their stuff.
Allen was excellent and prompt.
Would refer Tuffy 10/10.
