I called on July 26th for an appointment and was told the first available was August 28th at 845. Drive 35 minutes to get there and was told I was not on the schedule and they couldn't work me in and would have to reschedule. Never going back.

I had a very warm welcome on my first time being at this office ? especially Mrs.Cassie and Mrs Leeann ? both have very sweet personalities ? I would highly recommend anyone to this office ? thanks again to the whole staff

Abbie has been so helpful during my recovery. She’s quick to answer my texts whenever I need something. I hope stays forever, because we need more people like her . & Also Katie is so nice! She’s there when I have any questions.

Absolutely the Best Podiatrists available (Especially Dr Rowen). Who throughly treated and explained all treatments to me. Nurses (Especially Nurse Linda) was awesome.
All Recipication Staff were excellent.
Katie, Cassie and Brandon (where above excellent).
Called in the morning, booked and treated the same day, by happy, professional staff.
Very pleased with all services.

My appointment was at 3 in the afternoon. I sat in the waiting area for over an hour and a half without hearing my name called. When I went to the front desk to make sure I was actually in the queue, I was informed I had one more person in front of me. They were polite about it but no one offered an explanation or apologized like it was out of the ordinary. They did willingly give me a refund when I requested. My advice is this, do not go here if you have other obligations or time constraints in your life. I'm sure they are great doctors but they clearly extremely overbook themselves.

They didn’t take my insurance, but I went through self pay, got an injection without needing another appointment and the injection worked immediately! I probably worried the staff with all my crying when I walked in but I left happy!

I was blown away by the treatment I received at Tallahassee Podiatry Associates, and if you don’t want to read this long review, just know I highly recommend them and I’m so glad I chose them as my provider for foot care. First, I cold-called the office to see if they were taking new patients, and the young man that I spoke to on the phone was so friendly and personable. He answered all of my questions and was so kind and treated me like I was the only person calling (he was patient and took his time to make sure I was comfortable and all set). Upon arriving at the office, they were insanely busy. The waiting room was completely full and there was a huge line at the front desk. I didn’t have to wait long to check in, and again, the office staff treated me with patience, personalized attention, like I was the only person there. I don’t know how they are able to keep their calm, individual attention and patience in tact for every single patient when it was so busy in there! I was called back at my appointment time (on time!) and the sweet nurse took my X-rays and got me set up in a room. Dr. Alvarez came in almost immediately (again, no waiting!) and he was FANTASTIC. I knew that I was his last patient of the day, and he could have rushed me to get me out of there so he could go home, but he didn’t. He took time to listen to me, didn’t make me feel crazy or like I was over-exaggerating or overreacting about my foot pain. He stayed to talk with me quite awhile and looked over my X-rays with me in detail. He also answered all of my questions, and he asked me questions about other components of my medical history that might impact my foot health. He was incredible, and I really wish all doctors were as thorough, kind, professional, and respectful as he was. I felt like he genuinely cared about me, even though it was the first time we met. The same nurse came back in and fit me for a boot, and again, she was so sweet and helped me learn how to use the boot and answered my questions with patience and kindness. My entire experience here was fantastic. I never once felt rushed, I never felt like I wasn’t being heard, and I left the office feeling really good about my care. Whoever is in charge here has clearly fostered a positive culture for their employees, and has done a phenomenal job. You can tell the employees are happy because of the way it trickles down to the patients. I’ve lived in Tallahassee for 25+ years and have never experienced a doctors office this great.

I love Abby. She has taken care of me from the 1st time my surgery set and the lost insurance. She made sure that once my insurance was reinstated, even though Dr Spooner was not accepting any more surgeries until August, she made sure that I got my surgery before than. My foot injury was affecting my job. She saw the immediate need and she made it happen.
Thank you Abby! Dr Spooner is lucky to have you on his staff!

This medical office is just amazing. From the patient service representatives to the medical staff! I was a work in patient due to an injury. The Patient service team scheduled my appointment the next business day after my call. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by two wonderful patient service representatives. The Dr I was scheduled with was late due to unforeseen circumstances in the operating room. Well personally I have been in employed at a surgeons office before so I have seen the ugly side of patients when they can't be seen at their "appointment time" BUT my philosophy is, if I was on the OR table I would want my surgeon to take time and not rush to see in office patients. So... After being told he was behind I said ok, I completely understand. I had never been seen before and didn't have a preference in Dr. They were actually able to have another provider see me! I was so thankful!! I was seen by Dr. Nichols. He had a great bedside manner and explained my treatment plan thoroughly. The only thing I didn't like was the numbing shots I had to have but who does... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tallahassee Podiatry Associates!

Front office staff is nice , nurse and dr are knowledgeable but waiting 30-45 minutes past appointment time consistently is not worth the service here in my opinion .

If you have Dr. Meritt be willing to wait 2 hours for an appointment. They should tell you this before talking your money. Just ridiculous. Then they tell you he’s usually behind and you should call before coming to see him so your not just waiting.

Dr. Merritt was awesome. You're not going to believe this but the day of surgery he personally call me at 8pm to make sure everything was going good and told me to call him personally with any concerns. This my friend is old school medical care which I haven't seen in over 45 years. My hat goes off to him and his entire staff - Annamarie was great as well!
