Rude and very unprofessional. I’ve visited the place for the first time on 2/23/19 and got a pedicure and wax by Gina and she was so nice and welcoming - even invited me to their customer appreciation thing (if they even had it) . So anyways I go back off the strength of that but they were so rude and unprofessional. When I walked in - no one said cat dog nothing. I had to wait on her husband to get done playing games on his phone to assist me. Gina was laid out in the waxing chair with her feet up ain’t say nothing and I came for eyebrow wax . So I told him I’ll come back since she looked tired and she told me that’s fine that’s fine and dismissed me like I wasn’t worth the money . I ain’t come in being rude or nothing - I don’t know if they just had a martial issue because that was the mood they were giving me but they can’t have no more of my money . | Updated to add : I’ve been going back and the atmosphere has changed. I love it now and that’s my favorite place to go to. So I can appreciate the change in service and the quality of work . Somethings you just have to bare with people until they get it right lol.

This is the last straw! Star Nails is a prime example of you get what you pay for. They're reasonably priced but too many times I've left with knicked and bleeding cuticles, like right now. I wish I could post the picture of the dried blood around my toenail, even after asking her not to dig into and cut my ingrown toenail. The husband did a clear gel manicure a few months ago, and the gel must've been old because two days later, there were cracks all over my nails and the gel was chipping. I'd never seen cracks in gel like this before and prior to the pandemic I wore gel consistently for years. I went back and he apologized and said no problem he'd do them again. However, the shop was full and I was getting ready to leave town on business the next day and didn't have time to wait. During my two-week business trip, the gel was chipping off in random shapes and sizes based on the cracks and the gel was stripping layers of my nails. (I wish I still had the pictures.) It took months for my nails to recover, and with the Covid numbers rising again, I chose to limit my exposure and outings. I went back to get my nails done this weekend and for the husband to make good on my manicure. Of course, he claimed dumnesia and refused to honor his word. Between the unprofessional and dishonorable customer service and subpar technique, I won't be back! I make it a point to patronize locally owned businesses, but that shouldn't mean settling for discourteous and dishonest service. To everyone I recommended them to in the midst of this pandemic, I will definitely get the word back out not to patronize them.Services: Gel manicure

Cut me twice on my toes during my pedicure. It felt like she was rushing and there was literally just me and my friends in there. Then tried to wipe the blood away before I could see like I couldn’t feel it. There’s no need to rush if you don’t have a wait. I’ll never come here again.

Gone here a few times and had a good experience. I can get pedicures so I can speak to that from experience. As far as manicures, my wife doesn't complain and work looks good to me. I will forewarn you this is a small establishment, family owned with minimal techs so you may have to wait for a little bit. Other than the wait everything else is good.
