“This was my first time coming here. I had not heard of this store until one of my co-workers mentioned that this is where he goes and takes his daughter here. Since I was in preparation to run a marathon this fall, and it’s been 24 years since the last one, I thought I might need to get some help in getting ready. I stepped in and the owner greeted me and asked me what I needed, and he proceeded to ask me questions and what I was looking for and I gave him the breakdown of my plans and how I have already been training. I let him know what I have recently competed in and the shoes I have been running in currently. He never said they were bad shoes but mostly, since I was feeling pain in one of my knees, that they might be the wrong ones for my feet. He next asked about speed or comfort to find out what types of shoes he would narrow it down to. I felt important that he was taking this much time to find out about my needs. He then had me take my shoes off and do a quick run on the treadmill to check my gait to see how I was running. He eventually recommended a couple of shoes that would work with inserts to correct my running position. He made sure he took his time to make it right so don’t think that you will be in and out in 5 minutes because it takes time to make sure it is done right so stay and do it. I have had knee pain since the last ½ marathon I did a few months ago and just lived with the pain after each run. I have now run on the shoes he has recommended 3 times (2 on treadmill and once outside) for about 5-7 miles for each run and my knees do not hurt hardly at all. The first time felt a bit awkward because the inserts made my foot feel different than what they are used to but the were designed to adjust my feet and that was probably the thing that helped me with minimizing the pain. That was a great experience and if you are looking for shoes for any form of activity, go see them at Cadence. They will take care of you and you support a local business which is another plus in my book. I will be buying my future shoes from them. Thanks Scott.”

“Go Noles . My old stomping ground and 1st University I attended so had to take a look at this store. Even though I transferred to another school that actually my Yelpie found for me I still remember the days in Tally and the spirit of the Noles. We did not have all the Seminole merch they have now .You can easily deck your house in it and Tally is such a college town with over 70000 students now that I can imagine this store must do well. They had glassware, any shirt you could imagine and even decorative lights for outside of your home. Worth a look!”

“I have extremely flat feet with other fun foot difficulties which cause leg, knee, back etc. pain and make it very difficult to determine which shoe is best for me. I visited Cadence 2 times to try different options and make informed decisions. (Owner) Scott worked with me over an hour first visit and we chose an option; he told me before I left that if I had any! problems, to come back.
My unique feet being what they are, I did experience some difficulties and 2 weeks later, brought shoes back and Mike graciously helped me; I think we've found the solution!

Stopped by REI while passing through town to find some hiking boots and had an awesome experience. Courtney guided me to the shoe area, and Sophia was incredibly helpful in explaining everything and helping me find the perfect pair. I was in and out with new boots in under 30 minutes! The store is clean, well-laid-out, and the staff is superb. I don’t live nearby, but if I did, I’d shop here all the time. Highly recommend.”

If you like the Noles , this is your place .This store had tons of Nole merch and even 2 young kids to run the place while we were looking around.They were helpful in helping us find an item we were looking for.
