Cancelled my appointment because I was running 10 mins late (and called to notify them) ... no grace period or anything. This mom of 5 rarely gets a day off or time to herself so that was a huge disappointment. I'll stick to my other salon unfortunately.

Hairstylist, Melanie, always explains what she is going to do and asks if that is ok. Perfect! She answers all my questions with complete confidence and that assures my confidence in her. She understands my concerns and always complies to my wishes and will suggest other options when a better one will give the results I’m aiming for. She better not move away!?

I recently got a very poor haircut at a different salon. I saw Marie at the Lafayette location to fix it. She is absolutely wonderful! She listened intently and talked to me through everything she was doing. I absolutely love my cut and had a wonderful experience. 11/10, will return to Marie! ??

I visited the Market St location recently while staying in Tallahassee. When I booked my appointment I was very clear in my expectations. I have dark hair but have increasing silver coming in. I explained that I am ready to embrace the silver and asked explicitly if they could provide this service. I was assured that this was absolutely doable. The person who scheduled me told me that an experienced stylist would be needed to accomplish this. The receptionist gave me three names of experienced stylists. She placed me on hold to verify an open appointment. She came back to the line with the name of a fourth person. I questioned her about this and her response was anyone could provide what I wanted. And this person was experienced enough. This was a red flag but I decided to give her a chance. I made the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I explained exactly what I wanted and showed the stylist a picture of a model with silver and pewter colored hair. I told her this is what I wanted. She said no problem. It might take a couple of sessions to get totally silver but she could do it. She took an extraordinarily long time to do the foils. This is not my first time having foils. I questioned how little hair she was coloring. She told me the silver would show beautifully against the ash. So I waited as she continued. When she rinsed my hair she was extremely pleased with the results and couldn't wait to show me the big reveal. She kept me turned away fro the mirror while drying my hair. When she turned me to the mirror I was so disappointed. I couldn't see any silver. If anything my hair appeared darker. I was quick to tell her, I didn't like it. It was not what I asked for no what I expected after four hours in the chair. She was stunned that I didn't like it. I reminded her of what I had shown her and asked her to do. She began telling me that what I wanted was a process that would take multiple appointments. I was floored this was not what I was told going in. She told me she needed to speak to her manager to see what she could do. The response from the manager was to ask for photos after which she asked me to pay for the appointment and rescheduled me for 3 days later. When I walked out of the salon my daughter asked what did they do? The color was that fine it was noticeable. On my return appointment, the owner assisted the same stylist with doing my hair. They decided to detox my hair and remove color. I thought that meant we were on the right track. My hair lifts easily and I told them that. The both worked on foiling my hair. I expected results. Five and a hours I was turned to the mirror and extremely disappointed to see very little silver and more dark. So nearly ten hours later and being charged $149 ($20 coupon for being new) I walked out disappointed again. When asked if I liked I was honest and said no. I came to this shop looking for a permanent stylist as I am relocating to the area soon. I will keep looking. Make sure you are clear with what you want at this salon. Hopefully, you will have a better experience. Staff is very friendly but that didn't make up for the disappointment.

I’m long overdue for this review, however I wanted to shout out Marie. I’ve been getting a haircut done by her for several months now and she never, ever disappoints. She is the kindest hair stylist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She’s personable and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with her work. I’ve had experiences in the past where I would leave salons feeling insecure about my haircut. This is not the case with Marie and this salon. I always walk out feeling revitalized and looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much to Marie and the rest of the amazing staff!

It took some time to write this review. I went to this salon in the beginning of September for a balayage. After my initial appointment was cancelled, they rescheduled me with somebody else. During my appointment, everything went okay, the hair stylist came confident, except for the fact that I asked for a platinum balayage and specific areas to be covered. However, I ended up with a yellow tone and brassy orange tones, as the stylist didn't lift the brown hair enough and didn't cover the specific areas I asked for. The results were terrible. They sent me a survey later that week where I explained what happened, but they never got back to me. I think this place is only interested in making a profit. If you don't think you can do the job, please don't take it on. I will never come back, and I feel like I wasted my money.

I recently walked into Soleil 7 for a consult and am SO glad I did! From the moment I entered, Carol, at the Front Desk, made me feel welcome and comfortable! She is a great asset to the salon and was a big part of my great experience that day !I ended making an appointment with Tiffany who discussed my color and cut and she gave me concise and clear suggestions on how to improve my current hair situation.I have since had a haircut, a shampoo,blow dry and style , and a color treatment.Each time I was extremely happy with the service and experience and 100% would recommend this Salon. Tiffany is one of the top stylists I have ever been too and Tallahassee is lucky to have her.So glad I stopped into Soleil 7!
