A partial payment was due on a window air conditioning unit. No calls, just showed up while I was asleep. He then decided to open the window, reach into my home to move a table and unplug the unit and then took said air conditioner. When did it become ok for someone, anyone to enter your home without your permission? When is it acceptable for a business to enter your home and partially climb through a window? I believe that would be called, "Breaking and Entering". All that they had to do was let me know to turn it back in, NOT perform self-help. They took their equipment along with my families sense of safety and security. Best advice: don't deal with them. They are bullies and liars and use strong arm tactics and now they have added entering homes without permission.

Chris and Bobby of Tallahassee FL are crooks and bully’s to a 60 year old woman fighting Covid and threaten her with the police if she didn’t open the door. They demanded access to my home despite her advising the owner wasn’t there. Bobby then continued to haggle her by saying the owner gets off at 3pm still demanding access. Owner gets off at 5pm) When the owner went to the store Chris laughed, lied, and withheld information requested in regards to the account. Then proceeded to ask me to leave when I advised I was recording him for legal purposes. Chris trains his employees to bully, harass, and use scare tactic.Please review the other comments and know this is a true and accurate account. Stay away and take you business elsewhere. They don’t care if you are dying from Covid. They will bully you for $117 1 payment late. COME GET YOUR WASHER AND DRYER!

A person at your location just beat on my daughters door as if he was with the swat team or police (very aggressively and angrily) at 10am over a weeks missed payment (04/08 to today). There was a payment issue due to a lost card, so she’s been using an alternate card for the past week via a family member. When she tried telling them this, they gaslit her and the guy was so rude she had to close the door. After a quick phone call with the family member the payment issue was resolved, meaning the aggression was NOT needed. My daughter is so upset right now and frankly we as her family are not happy either. We have never had any experience like this with rentacenter (which is why I gave an extra star). Please educate your employees on common courtesy, and if you have to reach out to a customer, do not start the interaction with aggression.
