Edit: Came over after three months and installed two new windows, one of which is again inoperable and has a faulty locking mechanism (was not locking correctly upon delivery already). Also forgot to seal windows with low expanding foam before nailing them onto the wooden frames. Left me with unsealed windows and then I was told they’ll not come again. This company has no quality control. Left me with two unsealed windows, one of which is inoperable. Like what I’m supposed to do, tape the windows with newspapers for energy efficiency and never use the one that doesn’t work? The builder has my contact information.
Very unprofessional. I bought a new construction house from Pafford Construction who contracts windows to Builders First. Two windows were inoperable and supposed to be exchanged for ones in a working condition within 5 days after the closing. Like a month later a guy from this firm showed up with one window (while house needed two) that still didn’t fit. He said he’d order two new windows and it’d take 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I haven’t heard back so I reached out again to the builder and turned out the guy never ordered the windows so I waited on nothing. He said he’d then order the windows and it’d take 4 more weeks. It’s been 3 months already and they supposedly finally have the windows, we’ll see. I’d not order from them if it were up to me.

When our new home was built, this company supplied two sets of double-pane French doors with shade inserts inside the panes. Within the first year, one door fogged up and the shade malfunctioned. We had to replace it. It was very expensive to replace. A few years later, the second door also fogged up and the shade malfunctioned. I talked to the builders/sellers and they said that it should still be under warranty. So, I called the company to inquire. The guy I spoke to said that the door guy would call me back. 2 weeks later, when I had heard nothing, I called again and the same guy said he had forgotten to give my message to the door guy, but he would now. 2 weeks later, when I still had heard nothing, I called a third time. This time, he said something about the store being under new management or ownership or ??? I asked if they would still honor the warranty. He said he would see what he could do. Never heard from him again. Bottom line: they did not honor the warranty. In the future, I would not buy as much as one door hinge or screw from these people. Shoddy products and their warranties mean nothing. If I could have given them less than 1 star, I would have.

Check out guy was polite. The woman who took my money was sweet and her office smelled great thanks to the candle she was using. Staff helped us load the lumber into my truck. 5 star service.

Began using Builders FirstSource after Hurricane Michael. Our home suffered major damage on our front door. None of the box home improvement stores had a replacement. Sales rep took me out to warehouse to allow me to view options. They were able to custom build our new door in a reasonable timeframe to our exact specifications. Pricing was adequate. Pleased with the quality of their products. They also had great price on house wrap. Would recommend.

If I could give these people zero stars I would. We ordered our doors at the beginning of September and we were told we would have them in 3 weeks. Didn’t receive doors until the end of November and the French doors showed up without glass in them. After talking to the manager again it still took a month to get them out there to put the glass in. We finally just got our glass in and the dividers within the window are white when we told them our doors would be painted black. After calling the manager about it he said he didn’t think he could get it in black but he would call us right back to let us know. Never got a call back. This has cost us money and lots of time holding up building our house. Will never recommend them to anyone. These people never call you back when they say they will and have been less than helpful.

They do not honor their word. I ordered a door and it was wrong. Called and was told, yes, we did mess up and will make it right. Well, they didn't. Huge disappointment as I think they have quality products and good prices. Unfortunately I will have to take my business elsewhere.

Really bad when it comes to supporting Builders. This is from the top managers, they go through reps more than They change their underwater. I keep asking to change my useless rep Mike, but they have not.
