Friendly and helpful staff. Worked us in much sooner than expected. Very knowledgeable with reptiles. Reasonable costs too.

Absolutely horrific. No feedback/communication from vet, not even a head nod. Services promised but not delivered, then told the service would cost extra. Manager no better; she promised to fix things but didn’t even attempt to follow through. Use them at your pet’s risk!

Pet- and pet-owner friendly service. While running in the yard our dog accidently got poked in the mouth with a stick. After an 8AM phone call the dog was seen by a veterinarian, and stayed for observation. We were able to pick him up at 3PM. This is our pets' regular vet, and we were so grateful that this emergency situation was handled so well.

This hospital is truly special and I recommend it to everyone pet owner. The doctors truly go above and beyond to provide the best care for their patients and educate owners. They make the vet experience great for all species and adapt to best work with each individual pet. It's hard to put your pets health into someone's hands but this hospital makes it easy! Managers there are understanding and professional. Receptionist do a wonderful job welcoming you as soon as you step in the door. The technicians truly listen and handle you pets with love. Overall amazing!

DO NOT USE HANNAH HARBY AS YOUR VET! I have used this vet for 5 years, and am pulling all my animals from them over this issue. Found 5 kittens and cat before the hurricane and brought them in for the mama and kittens to be looked at. I specified SEVERAL times, that these were not my cats and I’m trying to help them but can’t afford a lot. She never told me the cost of the exams and did them anyway. She told me she absolutely understood the entire time I was worried about the money and would discuss the costs for everything prior to moving forward. At the end, she sends in the manager, Bethany to collect the $334.00 alone in exam costs . 58 for EACH KITTEN! This is not for tests. Not for anything else, but bringing them in. I was told I had no choice but to pay. Even though I was not forewarned on cost. Severely disappointed. I ended up having to pay $619.00 for these poor cats that I am fostering. When I called back about not approving the exam costs ( because if they told me it was 58.00 per cat I would’ve walked) Bethany ( the manager ) said basically it was my problem. No refund for each kittens exam cost. IF YOU DO USE THEM, GET THEIR PROMISES IN WRITING PRIOR TO WALKING IN THAT EXAM ROOM. I’m out $619.00, and still tending to 5 stray kittens and a stray cat.

I really loved the vet Dr. Harby and the tech, Mara, that assisted today. It was well worth the hour drive and I would be willing to continue to do so for the care my three cats received today.

I would highly recommend Paws and Claws. The staff and veterinarians care deeply for their patients. I have several cats who would not be alive today if it were not for the knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians.

I love Paws and Claws! All of their doctors are wonderful and you can tell everyone that works there cares very much about the animals. They have seen all of my fur babies and helped with many of their health issues from basic annual visits, dental procedures, to a double eye enucleation. They also work closely with local rescues and have kitties available for adoption! Thank you for being so wonderful and taking care of so many animals!

They take care of your fur babies like they are their own and that to me is very important when finding a veterinarian to take care of my babies. Kind, caring, and compassionate. I cannot recommend Paws & Claws enough!

The folks at Paws & Claws truly love animals and it shows. They have cared for our dog, cat and rabbit and have given amazing care to all three. I thought our elderly cat was at the end of her life and was doing very poorly but their expert treatment brought her back and she is still with us and bringing us joy more than a year later. They also successfully neutered our bunny, Obi, with no issues. Most vets won’t even treat rabbits because they are so neurologically fragile. And when we had to put our dog, Goldie to sleep during the start of COVID, they were there for us again and the came out to our car and were very compassionate. The vet techs and the ladies at the front desk are very friendly and obviously love animals as well. They also do a lot in the community and treat a lot of humane society cases and rescues. I strongly recommend them to anyone in the community for the best and compassionate care for your beloved pets!

I have used Paws & Claws for many years for my personal cats and the cat rescue I volunteer with uses Paws & Claws. Especially with rescue cats, we frequently get emergencies with receiving sick or injured cats. The staff and the vets will find the time, including staying after hours, to take care and stabilize the cat. Several of the staff, including vet techs and vets, also foster for rescues, showing their deep commitment and love for rescue animals. We also appreciate the adoption center in the lobby, which allows kittens and cats to find loving homes. Without our partnership with Paws & Claws, we would not be able to run a rescue and save lives. For my personal cats, I have also found the vets to be very caring and providing the best care possible.

This vet has gone way downhill. I took one of my dogs in to discuss issues I had noticed in her teeth and they basically robbed me of $60. I waited 40 minutes for a very inexperienced and hurried vet to tell us they needed to pull 3 teeth and hustled us out the door. No other options discussed, no ability to ask questions. Just hustled out and then denied the ability to have a discussion to ask follow up questions. I understand vets in this town would prefer to extract teeth than to recommend alternative therapies, such as restorative dental practices. I fully intend to take my dog to UF to give her the best care possible, just shocked that a vet would not want to discuss ongoing dental care, considering I just brought her to the same vet clinic 8 months ago and she didn’t have these issues. I got the distinct impression they didn’t care and assumed we were neglectful. One glance at my vet record would show the complete opposite and the thousands upon tens of thousands of dollars I have spent on my pets. I’ve been going to this vet for over 10 years but after today - I am done with them. They should be ashamed at the level of incompetence and neglect they showed today.
Edit - it was communicated to me that the vet spent less than 2 minutes in the exam room and hustled everyone out and immediately moved to the next room, which left me with no options to have a discussion and of course, they didn’t call me at the end of the day as promised. I had at least 10 questions regarding options for avoiding pulling teeth, how the situation could have happened with a dying tooth that I was just finding out about, and especially questions regarding timing and if she was in pain when I found out they are booking teeth cleanings into MARCH! The vet tech that came out to the car to get my dog promised I would receive a call which I didn’t get. Every pet deserves more than 2 minutes and every client deserves more than 2 minutes for $58.
