After spending the last 3 weeks trying to get my updated prescription from the Timberlane location without ANY response, I took a shot in the dark and called this location. I was desperate for someone to help before I ran out of contacts and I got so lucky when Sholanda answered the phone, 5 minutes before they closed. Sholanda went above and beyond to help me. Not only did she send me my prescription but she even helped me change the contact brand by enlisting the help of the doctor, all within 5 minutes of closing time. I am SO GRATEFUL to Sholanda and I will be switching to the Miccosukee Road location for all my eye care needs because of HER.

Everyone was incredible. I've had glasses most of my life and no eye doctor ever took the time to explain what was going on in my eyes until now. The front desk person was very kind and helped us get sorted quickly, the doctor and assistant were both very patient and kind. Then finally, Eric helped us out with picking our glasses and sorting out the rest of the process. He even helped fix my current glasses that were loose! I have NEVER been treated so well at an eye doctor. Eric was so kind and patient and helped walk me through everything, this is my new favorite place!

These folks are so friendly and so helpful!! They made they whole process of updating my prescription and fitting me with new frames a breeze. Shout out to Kaitlyn for helping my find frames that are just perfect!

My eye appointment went great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.My only issue is I don’t recommend buying contacts here. I felt extremely pressured into buying my contacts at the time of my appointment and after I left I found I could buy significantly cheaper through several online vendors even without insurance. But I still very much recommend otherwise.

Wow can you believe that MyEyeDr offers a 2 year warranty on their Techsheild no glare and a 2 year warranty on their Crizal no glare at no cost with the manufacture. Outstanding, you should go take advantage if you have any peeling or any issues. Google it if you do not believe me.

Appreciated Dr. Wright and his knowledge of dry eye. He explained the test results and gave me Tyrvaya sample that is a nasal spray and said that dry eye is treated and it wasn’t in my head. Other professionals had told me there is no connection with nasal spray and I knew that my dry eye and vision improved when I started back on Fluticasone but still needed something else. Staff was very helpful. So glad my reading abilities are improving after second dose. Dry eye is a long term symptom/disease and I am so please Dr. Douglas Wright is available close to home.

The new doctor (I apologize for not knowing his name) is so helpful and very good at his job! The staff is also very nice and on top of it. He helped me with the problem I had with my contacts much more effectively than the previous doctor who worked at this location, and it was the fastest doctors appointment I have ever had. Highly recommend!

I visited on 4/29/22. They didn't have the right chair for the exam. I had to ask for a higher chair because the exam mirror w/ the letters you have to read was very low and when she switched me the chair was replaced w/ a chair w/ wheels which was still too low because when you sit it went down. The exam wasnt completed correctly like last time. I didnt feel comfortable from the time I met w/ the examiner to the dr. The dr didnt even adjust the eye machine correctly to fit where it waa confortable for me. Why say from my test that there were no issues showing but make order $300 lens.Then when I went to ck out I asked where is the older lady I seen before but the young lady said she had retired. I said, really she was very nice, caring, patient, courteous, and professinal. This young girl yesterday is no comparison. She didn't ask to clean my glasses or adjust them. It seems she was in a rush!! Lafayette for now on!! I want to cancel my lens order until next year but I went on the website and there is no 24 to 48 hour time to cancel just in case a customer changed their mind. Now, I got to wait until Monday when they open.I will definitely stop payment if it's too late by my bank.

Excellent service, the women working check-in, check-out, glasses fittings, and the pre-exam were all amazing. Cheerful, friendly, super welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Wright was phenomenal, very charismatic and knowledgable. He really made me feel educated about my own health and eye sight. Will be making this my permanent eye exam location.

Although I live in Orlando, I have remained loyal customer with My Eye Dr. since I left Tallahassee. Ms. Collette Henderson won me over the first time with her excellent customer service. I travel for a living and was not going to be in town when my glasses came back. She mailed them to my location! Not many are willing to so the same.

Super nice staff. I accidentally contacted the wrong eye doctor and they were nice enough to find out where my glasses were at one of their other facilities. Very polite and professional!
