Driving through Tallahassee and came across this group. They were able to fit me in between their customization projects for an oil change and tire rotation. Affordable, timely, and job well done. Support this group of advocates for All.

I've dealt with these guys for a long time, and they've always seemed kind of shady. This last time, I needed some work on my van door. I was working and the kids were in school, so it was a big deal to collect everyone to drive 70 miles to try to get service on the door. Once there, they made us wait for about an hour. The mechanic came back and said, "Well, “we really can't do anything with the door” but quoted me around $700 to get a new system—he would have to investigate. Since he “couldn't do anything,” he charged me only half of the hourly rate, which came out to be about $80. I paid them and left.
I brought it back home and took it to a local technical school where the automotive guys just tightened a loose wire. Problem solved. This experience tells me that the guys at this Mobility Works Tallahassee are crooks, don't know what they're doing, or are a bit of both. Anyone who goes in there will be able to see and feel how every discussion there seems to center on them getting paid. Nevertheless, I'll never be back.

Rickey is going to take perfect care of you. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and completely in tune with your accessibility needs. I'd rate 6 stars if I could.
Highly VA and veteran friendly.

We were in the market originally for mobility upfitting services for a full size van that was being built but we had not received yet from the factory. We also have a son who is medically fragile and non-mobile. As a family we were growing out of our Toyota Sienna with a valet chair installed very quickly. I had called up in January and reached out to Mobility Works in Tallahassee and Rickey Miller answered my call. I was then able to tell him what we needed and how frustrating this process was going for me and I asked if they could help us in our upfitting needs. He said we could do some services but not all of it, so that was the stressful part for us. This project was getting bigger, harder to deal with and more expensive than I could handle and he knew we needed help without even asking.
Out of the blue a couple of days later I received a call from Rickey saying he found a vehicle for us and that he had not forgotten about me!!! What?? That to me was someone that wanted to do business with us! He asked us to check out what he found and it was a beauty! A full sized high roof wheelchair lift mobility van, but the only drawback was that it was in Tennessee. We had to see it in person and bring our son to see if it would work for him and us. Well, he got the vehicle down here and it was absolutely what we needed! We did the paperwork that day and we were able to get everything done in a matter of a couple of hours. The bonus was that he accepted our current van as a trade in for this new van. It was such a lovely experience working with Rickey and his team in Tallahassee. He provided us relief and fantastic customer service, which in our world hardly happens, so thank you again for your help and support!

The wedding was beautiful. But the adaptive van trouble was not. What to do with the EZ lock system that was anything but easy. It was broken. Next day, 8:00 AM. I called Mobility Works Tallahassee. Explained my problem. The EZ lock system allows me to drive from my wheelchair. EZ lock system secures the wheelchair to the floor and frame of the van. Releases when you’re done. If it is not secured, the car will not move. So I couldn’t bring it in to the dealership. Instead, they sent two people to me to see if they can fix the car in the parking lot of the hotel. They were not able to do it so they gave me a temporary fix so I could get to their place of business. after the wedding, I was supposed to be on the business side of my trip to Florida So time was of by the essence They took my car in immediately and within an hour it was all fine and dandy. Very nice of them to take my car and put it ahead of other work since which they would still have to finish that day. I was on a clock on my way to other ports of call in Florida. What a wonderful experience with Mobility Works of Tallahassee. If you don’t already, you will love them!
