Let me join the 'not a happy customer' group. I ordered a dishwasher, which was promptly delivered on the specified date. However, the front cover was defective from the manufacture. So, not at the fault of MM. The defect was pointed out by one of the two installers, and I was told a new cover would be ordered. A couple weeks passed and I heard nothing, so I contacted MM's parts/repair department. I spoke with a very nice gentleman who was unaware that a cover needed to be ordered, and he said one would arrive in a week & a half. Well, three weeks passed and contact was made, this time I spoke with another guy in the same department. He didn't seem to even know what I was talking about, but he could at least tell me the part had been ordered. Another 2 weeks passed, and I finally reached out to the sales lady, who sold me the dishwasher, hoping she'd be able to tell me when I could expect the new cover to arrive. Instead of replying to me directly, she forwarded my email to the initial parts/repair guy and someone else. A week and a half passed with zero communication from anyone. Please note 3 different people ignored my email. Finally, I emailed the sales lady again, copying the other 2 people, and was immediately contacted letting me know the cover was in and could be installed. Hooray! Wonder when they were gonna let me know? So, similar to what others have said, purchasing the dishwasher was a breeze and install happened as promised. But, their communication (or lack thereof) sucks! And, THEY DO NOT CARE! Never once did I receive an apology for the inconvenience this caused me. I will have future appliances to be purchased, but it will not be @ Mayes Monroe.

I was building my home and worked with Mays-Munroe. They communicated with my builder & cabinet designers to make sure everything was beautiful, functional and could pass code ahead of time. So happy with the finished product! Beats the box store experience.

Wife and I Called Mays several times without a response just minutes before walking into the office only to see that there were more available sales reps than customers ?. Paid Service/installation person never called or showed up to complete the job. Sad after spending thousands cash in your store! Had to call to track down the appliances just to pay the remaining balance. Gotta do better Tallahassee! Communication with businesses in my hometown are well below average.

I purchased a washer and dryer here back in 2021 and the service was amazing. Even though it was in the midst of the pandemic and supply was very low, they went above and beyond to get me the appliances I was looking for.It's been a few years now and we are moving out of state. I thought I had the transfer bolts for the washer, but couldn't find them anywhere. With two days until the moving truck coming to load up, I was frantic. None of the local hardware stores carry them in store and there's not enough time for delivery. As a hail mary I went and stopped by Mays Munroe showroom.While they didn't have any compatible transfer bolts in the warehouse, they went above and beyond and pulled some from a floor model for me, free of charge.I can't recommend them enough. They didn't have to go to that extra effort for a customer that is moving out of state, but they did and I can't thank them enough.

First we checked the website. Wasn't a good start. They have NO prices listed on the ones we were interested in. Just said call for the price....so we went in and it wasn't any better. No prices listed. HAD to talk to a salesman.

We purchased a gas range, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher from the store. We have been dissatisfied from the moment the items were installed. They are LG and honestly very poor quality. I could not reach Mays Monroe on the phone and had to drive there just to try to get a service appointment. The LG technician came out as well as a Mays Monroe technician and my microwave is still not repaired and operating as the owners manual says it should. I’m told that’s the best they can do. I know many people are happy with the store but my experience has been anything but good.

Called to schedule service , I live outside of Tallahassee Wakulla, cty. I called on September 26 the auto scheduler was down, was going to call me back,after no call I called back on Sept. 28.Explained reason for repair ,the earliest they could schedule myrepair was October 11th, also wanted $125 dollar trip charge paid in advance to confirm my service call 13 days in advance (Oct. 11th). Needless to say I called another GE trained tech who came to my house the next day (Sept. 29th) Will no longer do business with Mays Munroe>

I have bought all of my major appliances from Mays-Munroe for years. Recently, I needed to purchase a new microwave/convection oven and gas range as my old appliances could not be repaired. The folks in the sales office were great - Cedric, Mike and a guy whose name I forget. They also had great folks to install the appliances - Mark Goodwin with Unlimited Installs and Brinston Wright with Stone G.O.A.T. They were all wonderful. McNeill Plumbing also handled the gas. The old appliances were taken away and new ones installed by midafternoon. It was wonderful. I highly recommend them all. Joy F.

A good locally owned appliance store. The employees are very knowledgeable. They will guide you through the features of the appliances that you are looking for so that you can make the selection that best fits your needs. There is no sales pressure at all.

The service is very bad .. I called on 4/3/23 left a message and none called me back I had to go to the store and ask them to call them they ask answered and a week later I had to go to the store then they give appointment 8 days later then they call you to tell we will charge you $105 to come and look at it this refrigerator it’s only 13 months old ??I know I will not go back there again

I came in for information on refrigerators and honestly received the most valuable information and honesty on products. Mike Munroe gave excellent service and even helped me with my other refrigerator issues. While I did not purchase one yet, I definitely will purchase if things do not resolve! Great customer service.

I believe I provided a review three years ago when we first purchased our horrible Crosley Professional washer/dryer set. But as I sit here having to rebalance my load of clothes, respin for 45 minutes, then dry for three hours, I felt the need to tell this story again. It was 2020, beginning of Covid. So at the time we gave Mays Monroe a break. BUTThey were running a good sale on a name brand set, and we knew our washing machine needed to be relaced soon. So we ordered over the phone, cause, well it was covid time. They didn't have any in stock so said it would take a month for it to come in. So we paid and waited. Six weeks later they told us the set was backordered and it would be 3 months. By this time our washer died, so we were stuck without a washer totaly.We purchased what they had on the floor. A Crosley brand. Horrible horrible quality machines. Always out of balance and takes for EVER to dry. Never had a problem with my 25 year old set before this. PLUS they would NOT honor the sale percent off that brought us to Mays Monroe in the first place. That was the kicker. They had our large sum of money for six weeks, never called us to tell us about the back order, we had to call several times to get this info... bait and switch. So don't look at the 5 star reviews that are on their website. Beware. A local biz is not always friendly.
