The wait time was pretty quick but only because I had a timed test . They were understaffed and very stressed . The lady up front was nice even though there was a lot going on with little help . The woman who took my blood was rude and snappy and didn't warn me before she started taking the blood no bed side manners at all . There was no seating and it was dirty .

Today was the worst experience I've ever had at the LabCorp at Gamble Place. We've lived in Tallahassee for 24 years and used this site often with good results. Today I had an appointment at 10:45 and finally left without being called two hours later. The waiting room was filled, and it appears many did not have an appointment and were walk-ins. The person at the front desk was obviously overwhelmed. This sort of service is totally unsatisfactory.

I was there on 5/ 24/ 2024.
The absolute worst experience I've ever subjected myself to while having lab work.
I'm a 10 year veteran travel nurse, so I have lab work drawn every 3-4 months for pre-employment.
I sat at this location for 3 hours and NEVER got my blood work complete. The receptionist was rude, and when I finally was exhausted with waiting, I approached the desk to ask the wait time? I was promptly told, after 3 hours, "we have NO idea how much longer the wait. There's only 2 of us today, there's usually 6, we're short, so you're free to take your paper work and leave!" I asked why wasn't a 2-3hr wait explained upon check-in, I was told merely, "we don't know, sorry!" They literally went to lunch, didn't bother to tell any of us waiting, and we sat there until they returned!
Horrible, horrible experience! The absolute worst! Absolute worst experience in my ten years of nursing! I will never, ever re-visit said location again. And I informed my agency to never schedule me anywhere near this place. Abhorrent mismanagement of staff, and customer service is of no concern to any of them.

I have never had anything but good experiences at this location. I am a big baby about getting bloodwork, and it was even worse when I was going through several miscarriages in a row. The staff was quick, painless, and very kind. They were wonderful. I am baffled by the poor reviews. The waiting room is old but has plenty of space and chairs.

I feel compelled to leave a review since I was a little concerned based on previous reviews but had a wonderful experience today. I arrived about five minutes after they opened, (6:35) and checked in easily with the kiosk. I did not have an appointment and decided to just walk in. I was finished and in my car a few minutes before 7. Everyone was friendly, and the phlebotomist was excellent. Overall excellent experience.

I walked in and wasn’t acknowledged until this employee looked up with horrible attitude and I was asked “have you checked in at the kiosk” and would barely let me ask if it was possible to simply schedule an appointment.

Extremely understaffed. Very poor communication. Abysmal customer service. Outrageous wait times. I recommend going anywhere else.

Checked in on the “EXPRESS” check in kiosk at 9am, and it told me that I successfully checked in. When 10am came around, and all of the 35-40 people who came in after me had been called back for testing, I went up to counter, and clerk told me that I wasn’t checked in. ?She didn’t apologize at all, but took my paperwork, and at 11:15 am, I’m still waiting.

I had a walk in which didn’t take much time waiting at all. Jay, the man who did my blood work was absolutely fantastic, he did an amazing job!

Place has some rude people working here. Then to get argumentive and then say if attitude is had that people will be removed. Like what? Over something silly. There is a way better way to carry an attitude.

The technician that took my blood was very rude, jerked and punched my arm when I made a fist because I stiffened my arm, and put my bandage on so tight that I couldn’t bend my arm. She sang along to a song on the radio which made it seem like she wasn’t having a bad day and just dislikes the public and/or white people. She was the most unprofessional healthcare worker I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The lady at the front desk was very nice and redid my bandage for me, though.

I'm autistic and have severe anxiety with needles so bloodwork tends to be a massive problem for me. However the person i had not only was professional and quick but also very kind. Just kept a natural conversation with me while quickly doing the work so i was in and out within minutes with none of my usual afteraffects occuring. If it was her i would be fine getting bloodwork done more often. Thanks for the amazing experience

The receptionist was very kind and cheerful. Kim, my lab tech did an awesome job, first try! I have small veins. I was a walk in and didn't have to wait long to be seen.

The receptionist at the front were professional and straight forward. They remained calm in the midst of upset patients. The phlebotomist Shanecia (I don’t think I spelled it correctly lol) was amazing! I have extreme anxiety, but this blood draw although it was hard to find my vein (due to me not doing my part in drinking plenty of fluids) was a walk in the park! She was so sweet and gentle. The check in on the phone made this a great experience as well. As for me I feel if you treat people how you want to be treated there is always a great outcome. I came in with a genuine smile knowing the wait and I was patient, and I believe the staff saw that. It was respect on both ends.

Miss Jasmine was one of the best medical professionals I have seen!
