"I had a frustrating experience at the shop. Initially, I paid $21.00 for adjusting gears and repairing a flat tire. However, when I returned after two months for gear adjustments and brake changes, I was quoted $65.00. I pointed out the discrepancy, explaining that my previous payment was $21.00, and this sudden increase seemed excessive. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the attendant rudely responded, “Give me $20.00 and never enter this store again. If $ 65.00 is expensive to you isn't for me.” This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable."

came for tube replacement and been coming for years. he was very rude and didnt finish job. tubes are off kilter, and cant put air in them. i thought i gave review.:. perhaps they deleted it. i left wanting to ride but not enough air pressure. nice job lad!update! i asked for and paid for 2 new tubes. one is old judging from the tarnish. valve doesnt match rear one. i havnt had a chance to inspect until today. i have no idea why this man stopped being friendly and giving good service. pathetic!

Today is the first time that I've visited Joe's bicycle shop. I needed a tube. Joe was nice and very helpful . He will be getting my business from now on.

Came in with a smile asked to get my ebike a tune up and have the brake pads checked 5 mins after opening. Joe seem to be upset when I requested service for my bike he said they were really busy and probably couldn’t get to it till next week but since I was leaving town for the next few days, that was not a problem. I told him to get to it when he could and I would pick it up and it was ready. The real problem came when I told him what service I needed and requested that they check the back brakes because they were constantly screeching. He replied that it probably means I need a brake pad change. I told him that they had been screeching since I got the bike and I had hoped that the last time I came by to get the brake pads checked that it would have stopped but it didn’t that seem to irritate him and he’s very condescendingly and rudely responded with well. I guess you know more than us shoved the work order in my hand and walked away. As I was walking out the door, I realized that I was quite uncomfortable Leaving my bike there if they can’t speak to someone with the basic amount of respect when they have been showed nothing but respect who’s to say, they’re going to respect my bike or repair it properly. There’s another comment on here that believes that their bike that was assembled by Joe may have intentionally been done wrong, if you wanna be safe on the road with your bike and be treated with respect, I would find another place to have your bicycle serviced because you won’t find that here. When I went back inside to return the ticket and respectfully let them know that I didn’t appreciate being spoken to you that way, and I would be using someone else to take care of my bike. I was chased out of the store and yelled at to the point that another customer came out to make sure that I was OK. Use them at your own risk.

The guys at joes are a couple of funny characters who do good work. I bought a Lectric bike last year after I retired and they handled everything from setup to maintenance checks to replacing worn out tires. They do a great job!

Bought a refurbished bike with a fried from Tampa in town for a few days. Two years ago I took a child's bike there for an upgrade. Did great work on that too! Always reliable.

i have been riding in tallahassee and all over since the 1960's and have been a loyal patron of joe's since his shop began. just recently had two tires repaired, as usual prefectly done and quick service, at a great price. I wish everyone did business the way joe does.THANKS!!!!!!!
