The *ONLY* place in town I rent from! The staff is so kind and accommodating. I rent a car from them about once a month and I’ve never had an issue.

I’ve come to dread dealing with Hertz over the past few years and my experience at this location only confirmed those feelings. Cars weren’t available when I arrived to pick up even though I had a pre-existing reservation. The desk area is disorganized and the checkin process is chaotic. I only had a car for one day and yet there were still issues with the invoice when I returned it. Just by looking at the other rental companies’ checkin desks compared to Hertz, it’s apparent they are substandard. The front desk staff were courteous hence two stars vs. one.

Our TLH flight was cancelled due to the hurricane. Tried to drop off at another airport and was quoted almost 1k USD... don't use Hertz unless you want to Hurtz your wallet. EDIT: regarding Hurtz reply below... saying sorry doesn't help... doing something about it would... words are empty

The people were great - the company very likely crooked or charging an excessive fee for a $2 toll.. I went through a toll, that after on the road, I was required by FL to pay by plate (invoice will come to the car by mail). The company paid the $2 toll and charged me a $10 plate pass fee! Absolutely, bordering on criminal. Hertz knows that the state requires plate pass and so does the state. Sure its hidden in the 6 point font contract, specifically mentioned in the emailed invoice/receipt already charged to my card. When I exited the toll road I had an option to pay so I did because the rental car did not have the prepass box (and the DOT attendant said he already scanned and prepass was not in the car). Hertz had a big sticker in the car promoting plate pass and prepass.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. The lady at the front desk is the rudest person I’ve probably ever spoken to in customer service. I wanted to speak to a manager because her attitude was so bad and I need further assistance with someone who can actually help me and she hung up in my face and when I called back she proceeded to put me on hold and NEVER pick up. I NEED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER ASAP.

Ms. Bobbie Shepherd the agent at the front desk was so helpful and nice. She kept me informed about my rental helped me get my rental in time to make it to witness the birth of my nephew. Thankyou so much!

Very pleased with the service of the agents in the office. They are polite and helpful. Unfortunately the cars are not so great. Once I had a car steeped in smoke, the next one had an oil warning alert shortly after pickup.

I received a Nissan Sentra upon my evening arrival to the airport. The very next morning the car would not start. I called emergency roadside and it took 7 hours for hertz to correct the ordeal. They would not bring me a replacement car and required that I travel back to the airport (an hour from my location) in order to receive another car. I requested compensation at the airport counter and was told they cannot assist. After speaking with customer service they are only offering me a credit and refuse to provide any type of refund. I will never rent from Hertz again.

I have a horrible experience. There is no customer support. No instruction on how to return a rental or dependable ability to speak to an agent.
The car smells like pot, it wasn't clean. It was disgusting. You provide NO SERVICE but charge for every little thing.

We rented a vehicle from another location. On the way back to our home, my wife encountered multiple alarming issues, including collision warnings errors, key system errors, chassis control system errors, and a persistent check engine light issue. Despite contacting Hertz twice and receiving case #, we were instructed to take the vehicle to the Tallahassee airport for an exchange. However, the customer service representative at the airport was UNHELPFUL, RUDE, and CONDESCENDING. With no assistance from Hertz, my wife and daughter were forced to rent a vehicle from Enterprise. incurring unexpected expenses in order to get home. Furthermore, Hertz charged an additional $100 upon dropping off the defective vehicle at the Tallahassee location. Avoid this place at all costs.

The consistent service level of this Hertz location is outstanding. I have rented here at least once a month going on a year now and it's easily the best Hertz location I visit across the country. Every employee is warm and friendly. There is clearly very good leadership at this location.

I'm a frequent traveler for work, but this is ridiculous. To the "Owner" of this franchise, I would be embarrassed to own this location, extremely poor customer service by your employee.
