My experience here at GEM Mazda was amazing there wasn’t any pushy salesmen trying to push me into anything. Mr. Jimmy took care of me made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. If you’re on the fence I say come to Mazda Tallahassee and they will get you right and you won’t leave feeling like you’ve been sold you’ll leave feeling like I just made the best decision. Dealing with Gabe at Gem Mazda has been HANDS DOWN the absolute best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Even the sales manager Tim and finance manager Richard were fantastic!!! I cannot brag on them enough! If you need a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend these guys!

I recently visited Mazda of Tallahassee on a Saturday and was greeted by salesman Gary. From the moment we met, Gary was incredibly helpful and made sure we were well-informed to get the vehicle we wanted, which was the Mazda CX-50. I mentioned to him that I would be back on Monday, as the vehicle was for my husband and his off day was on Monday, but I wanted to review some numbers before making the purchase.
Gary spent a lot of time with us on Saturday, comparing the 2024 and 2025 models and explaining the differences in detail. With his guidance, we concluded that the 2024 model had all the features we needed. When we returned on Monday, Gary was there and ready to assist us again. He made the entire process seamless and easy.
I've encountered many salesmen at other dealerships who are just there to make a sale and don't offer much help, but Gary was the complete opposite. His dedication to helping us find the right vehicle was evident, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. I highly recommend Mazda of Tallahassee and especially Gary if you're in the market for a new vehicle.

I love Mazda. I do not, however, like the service or dishonesty I received from Gem Mazda of Tallahassee. First of all, and this has been eating at me since I bought my Mazda6 in March 2023, they advertised the Mazda6 as a 'Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle'. When I asked if there was anything they could do about the price (I am an 8 year Army Veteran) the salesman said 'No, this is a certified pre-owned vehicle. We cannot decrease the price at all'. I accepted the answer. During check-out while the manager was running my credit and we were discussing the vehicle, he said that it WASN'T a certified pre-owned.
My reply: 'Oh, then you CAN do something about the price?'
Manager: 'No, certified pre-owned does not increase its value.'
Me, looking at the meathead who lied to me: 'Wow, really?.'
I would have left right then and there but we were 4-5+ hours deep into the process and waiting on the banks underwriter to approve the purchase so I was pretty committed at that point.
2nd matter at hand: They straight up LIED again, right to my face, when they said it had zero reported accidents. I have a screenshot of proof that it was in fact involved in a reported accident November 22,2022. It's a simple search on FLHSMV providing the VIN.
3rd matter at hand: Extremely pushy when it came to using THEIR banking partner (BofA). I was midway through getting my approval from my credit union bit they said that I would get a better interest rate with their bank. Another lie. I'm at 15.89% with a 700~ credit score.
I will never go back, and I will tell everyone I know who is looking for a car in Tallahassee about my experience, starting here.

Just bought a new car from Gem Mazda and they were very very easy to deal with. We were able to work with Bobby West who very thorough, but also quick and to the point. They didn't try to upsell anything, did a lot of the work through email so when we got there it would move a lot smoother. I will def be going back to Gem Mazda for our future car purchases.

So you came here to read the reviews just like I did! So let me tell you what I think. I think if you decide to go anywhere other Gem Mazda, you will NOT get a GEM of a deal!! It’s not just a bunch of employees they really do feel like part of the family when you leave. Not only will you feel like family, you will have a great ride to sport around in. Plus money left over in the deal for gas that you would have spent if you purchased your car somewhere else. You can tell I’m very pleased with my purchase of a Mazda Cx-50 my salesman was Caleb. However, I wanna give a shout to everyone there at the good because I interacted with them and someway this afternoon. Now, GO BUY A MAZDA!!!
