Update: I was directly contacted by someone with FSU CU within hours of this post. They apologized for the interaction and informed me they have already spoken with the teller. I was not asked to amend my review but I must point out how appreciative I am that FSU CU is willing to take prompt action. I trust their assurance this matter was resolved as all my previous interactions with FSU CU have been exceptional.I have banked with FSU CU for years and the experience has been great until today. I walked in right at 9am when they opened and that must have been too early for the teller. When I asked for a pay off letter for a loan I was told “you could have done that online.” A different teller confirmed I could not have done it online. When I asked to cancel the auto pay for that account I was rudely told “I know. I will do it. You don’t need to be here anymore.” The other teller again had to step in and confirm I actually needed to sign paperwork to complete that process. Even thought the rest of us start our mornings hours earlier, 9am was too early for her to talk to a custom.

I never had any problems with the Fsu tellers, but today it was the worst. Usually I do my deposits by the drive through, but today I decided to go into the office to do it. I can see they had 3 tellers, but only one was assisting the people, completely understandable, because is Monday, and was slow. The lady that sit in the middle took my transactions. I told her very clear that I’m going to do 2 deposits in different accounts. So I gave her my license … the teller # is 678 and I’m guessing her initials are BR M. She did the first transaction perfect. When I indicated that second transaction was for my maid account with my husband. She made a mistake and deposit in the wrong account. When I checked and I found out the mistake, she argued with me about.?… i tried to explain her that I have 3 joined accounts, that’s why I indicated to check by my driver license. She pushed my DL, towards me that she didn’t need it, in the rudest way. She fixed the problem, and then I just asked how much money I had in my third account. She just complained about it. She printed it. So I had my transactions succeeded. After I told her that it wasn’t the right way to treat a customer. And she yelled at me saying that I was the first person that have a complaint about her aptitude. I just left very disappointed

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, if I could rate them 0 stars I would. Takes forever for them to do anything. First it took me 3 weeks to get my debit card in the mail. Then, when my account went negative by $2, they charged me MULTIPLE fees even though when I signed up for the account they told me I would NOT be charged fees because of how my account was set up. I then went again to get it fixed, they told me they fixed the account. A month later it starts happening again. They need to train their employees better so that they are actually competent employees that don’t lie to their customers about what they are doing with their account. Closing my account and moving somewhere else. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Just wanted to leave a 5-star review for Stephanie Flynn. She went above and beyond to assist with an auto loan today. My schedule was tight but she had everything ready to go for me, including the check. It was as easy as coming in, signing the documents, collecting the check, and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Great experience all the way around. Thank you, Stephanie!

Since the recent merger I've had two occasions to call member services. Both experiences have been exceptional. I did not get the name of the person that assisted me the first time, but today I spoke with Kristi about a huge SNAFU with a new debit card. She untangled the mess with finesse and got us all straightened out. Would give her six stars if I could! Thanks, Kristi!!

Nic was thoroughly helpful today. I’m a long term credit union customer and have had no issues with customer service since I started banking with FSUCU in 2016. Nic helped me postpone my car payment in a time of need. I would recommend this credit union to anyone in Tallahassee.

I have to wait until Monday to get my money because their 'forgot password?' service is literal trash. The customer service is a disgrace to be considered a subsidiary of FSU and the website must've been ran people who do not understand the concept of User-friendly interface. I cannot count the times I have been patient with this business for the simplest of tasks. Do not deposit your money here.
