I have had a very difficult time with this location. I used a First Commerce Loan to buy a car in February. It took until April for my tag to transfer. That is not the most frustrating thing though. I called and emailed with questions and it was like pulling teeth to get help. My main question was “should I renew my tag registration since it was expiring but had not yet been transferred from my old vehicle to the new vehicle?” When I was finally able to speak to someone on the phone I also inquired about when my first payment would be due since I had not yet receive any notice of a bill being due. It just so happens it was due the day I called. So I paid it over the phone. It is now they beginning of June and I still have yet to be notified of a bill being due and have never received instruction of how to make a payment. I just sent an email requesting help and plan to call if I don’t receive a response. Anyway my biggest complaint is the lack of communication and clarity from the staff. This is my first loan and I was confused the entire time. The process has been very poorly communicated and if I was not proactive I do not think anything would have been completed and I would’ve missed my payments. The only positive about this place is the rates are fair and one team member, Kathy Jones, has been extremely helpful.

I hate that you cannot make a simple payment over the phone without paying a fee. And the only other way to make it any easier is to sign up for automatic deduction from an account Otherwise you have to drive all the way to a branch to make a payment and the nearest one to me is 45 mins away. Ugh this is not single mom friendly definitely making life more difficult. Please get more payment options FCCU!!!! Get with todays times!!!

I too share the frustration of zero returned calls from FCCU. I was calling to add a business account, but if I'm unable to get a person on the phone - ever - I don't want them handling my business account. Time to move on.

Okay for walk in service but forget about trying to call on the phone. You will get placed in line for a WHILE. If you choose the option to get called back it places you on hold when the system calls you back. While on hold again they will be leaving you a voicemail saying sorry they missed you and no attempt is made to call you back again.I wish they placed a higher value on service via phone. I would change but it seems the other credit unions are no better.

No one in this office know how to call a person back for one . Another the security system on online banking is for the birds .Don’t know when someone that works in the bank makes serious mistakes they don’t seem to care. I will not refer anyone to this bank plain n simple

Id give this place a negative 5 if I could.. My dealership sent my loan to this place and 3 months later I have received nothing from them. I have to call to make a payment or open a checking account with them to pay online.. Service is horrible and not even a live person at the branch for tellers. I shouldn't have to beg a bank to take my money for crying out loudIn response: Then why can you just send me the stuff needed in an email or mail like normal banks would? I’ve asked 3 times for it now.. it’s been almost 3 months!!

I wish I read the reviews before ever contacting this credit union. They wanted my business, however the loan department plays a bait and switch game. I've done business with the Capital City for years and was advised that big bank cant compete with credit union. So after the bait and switch plan they laid out, I would have only lost about $100,000 over the next 15 years plus 3% closing costs up front (Don't worry they will roll that into the loan and charge you interest on it for 180 short months) I owe Capital City bank an apology for even considering a move. Sure am glad I didn't drink the kool-aid. Good luck if you are considering them. Be smart, shop the big banks too!

Be careful when parking at this bank, people tend to hit and run without any consideration. Otherwise, they provide great service.

I love the bank itself, but every time I need to call the bank to speak with someone it takes 7 minutes of an automated voice to actually get connected to someone. It's very frustrating and aggravating.

Wow, I can't believe the couple of negative reviews? I wonder if those folks have ever banked elsewhere? FCCU has customer service that is WAY BETTER than other banks! They still have that hometown feel, they are quick and responsive, and easy to deal with. I've been a member for a few months now, and I recently got a mortgage loan there, and I have been extremely pleased with my interactions with each and every person at their branches and over the phone. HIghly recommend FCCU.
