Nice little farmers market. There weren’t as many vendors as I expected but still a pretty good selection. I wouldn’t go every weekend, but maybe once every few months is worth it

No that’s not the lighting! It really is pink! I bought this beautiful immature cauliflower, some cute stickers, and some cookies. There weren’t a lot of shops but they were all lovely. Lots of jewelry, some Indian food, and a taco truck. Next time I will have to try the food! I wanted to buy some bread too but as a college student $12+ for a small loaf is too much for me. That’s not to say it didn’t look delicious however.

Nice little market of local vendors. So happy it stays open until 2 as most produce markets close at noon and it very hard for us to get to Tallahassee before noon. Free parking on Saturday too.

It was ok, could be better options to spend at a food market. I did love the herbal teas and the painting!

The Downtown Marketplace features fresh homegrown produce and organic items. Fresh bread and eggs are available. Look for fresh cut flowers and native plants. These are our local farmers offering Mother Nature’s best. Most of our farmers welcome WIC checks. Open from 9AM until 2PM every Saturday from March through November.

Beneath the prominent oak trees – and just a few blocks from the state Capitol - I tripped upon the Downtown Market Tallahassee on my return home to the Vero Beach. I’m in favor of supporting local business, so I stopped.Homegrown produce and eggs, fresh cut flowers and native plants (native to Tallahassee that is), plenty of homemade food and baked goods, along with locally roasted coffee and hand-crafted items were available among the various vendors. Free parking is a plus. Open from 8 am until 2 pm, I arrived at the market just after 12 noon.In speaking with several of the vendors, I was told that the market is on the rebound with more and more vendors returning each week. As someone into coffee, I stopped in and purchased several bags of roasted coffee from the husband/wife couple at Midtown Coffee Roasters. Hungry, I made a purchase of Indian food from that vendor. Purchasing early Christmas gifts for my kid’s teachers, I visited Ken over at The Clogging Potter. Cookies and brownies from the father/daughter team rounded out my visit.Interesting little market. I will visit again and hope that more vendors will return as the leaves start to brown and Fall sets upon us.William E. Lewis, Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.
