Worst store ever!!! Employees are unprofessional and rude. They had the nerve to accuse me of shoplifting despite me purchasing the item I wanted. On May 16, 2024, I went into this location. The first time I went inside I was simply looking at nail polish in the makeup aisle. I had to use the restroom, so I simply went next door to AutoZone. Dollar General never has a clean restroom. Two minutes later I came back into Dollar General and started looking at the pill organizers in their medication aisle. I began to immediately be harassed and followed by the employees. One of them even followed right behind me as I was walking to the checkout line.
I finally purchased a pill organizer with a DEBIT CARD. I even asked for a receipt and bag before walking out. I drove out of the parking lot and noticed two female employees staring at me. One of them was on the phone and the other was the cashier who let me purchase the pill organizer. I was three buildings down the road and was pulled over by police. The officer asked me to step out of the car and I was questioned for fifteen minutes. I was questioned because the employees at Dollar General decided to lie about me shoplifting. They lied and told the officer that I stole lip gloss and medicine. I NEVER looked at any lipgloss and never purchased any medication.
After being questioned for fifteen minutes the officer finally decided to check the car and found the bag that had both the pill organizer and receipt. I was then given a "no trespassing" order. Meaning that I'm banned from the store for a year. Don't worry......there are plenty of better stores to shop at. Dollar General will never be one of them!

Store is filthy. Too many items in the wrong places. Shelves in many areas are empty and rarely restocked.Big disappointment.

Just got told restrooms “out of service” in a very skeptical way. 07-19-23…Let’s keep track of how long it stays like that.

They closed and barred the door an hour before the posted closing time. Left the phone off the hook so it had a busy signal. Just close this location already

For location 8875 Woodville Hwy, Tallahassee 32305Negative 10 was not available. I tried to use the self checkout since the 2 women that worked there were gabbing with each other. However the self checkout would only scan one item...so I took my items to one of the ladies to ring me up since I was the only person in line.The older blonde lady felt it necessary to lecture me outloud about how the scan machine worked just fine and now she was going to have to clear out the one item that did scan...she continued to lecture me for a few minutes. If my daughter wasn't beside me I would have given her the same respect...lucky for her I just bit my tongue. I will just take Virginia's issue's to her DM. Let's see if she talks to the "Higher ups" like she does the customer.

The are stealing out of your pockets and robbing us blind. Every thing I purchased from $1 to $12 was priced at a higher price point at the register. This is crazy they literally took my kids dinner money and I had to explain why dinner plans had to change. I will never shop here again

I visited this location on 1/ 30 /22 around noon. The "manager" on duty was very rude. I just asked if he could tell me if they sold hardware items. The attitude and look that he gave me was so over the top. I understand that he was putting merchandise on the shelf but still no excuse. However, the cashier was very pleasant.

Total disorganized mess with few staff who don't even acknowledge your presence, however...if you need something quick without going to a big box store, try here first.
