I took my car to DT’s for a second opinion after getting an expensive diagnosis to fix my kia. Junior took the time and effort to give me a completely honest and unbiased opinion of what he thought was wrong with my car. It ended up being a software issue which only kia could fix but without knowing this I would’ve paid thousands at other shops to fix an issue that wouldn’t even help my car. His honesty and work ethic is rare to fine especially in Tallahassee. As a college student far from home, I will only take my car to DT’s in the future if ever needed. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone in need of repairs and looking for an honest and trustworthy mechanic. Thank you guys!

Honest, upfront mechanics. They spent a lot of time with me answering my questions. Spent time showing me what to do to keep my car going forward. Actually advised me to not do some work to help me lower the cost this time around. Could have easily taken advantage of me. Really appreciate this shop. Coming back here for all my car repair needs

I did not chose DT’s because I ended up at the dealership but Junior was extremely pleasant on the phone, walked me through the process and even gave me some tips on car maintenance without being condescending or rude which can be difficult to find when being a young woman looking for car repair! Just wanted to comment on such a pleasant experience!

This was a really nicely ran family owned auto repair shop! They were extremely nice and helpful. They walked me through the process of what was being done with my car each step of the way, and educated me on things I would’ve never known. As a young lady, I’m very skeptical of going to auto shops because they always try to get over on me, but I did not feel like that here!

Had an amazing customer service experience with Jr he explained what he was going to do to the T then gave a live demonstration of the work he was doing and even denied working on things that I could do myself in seconds but would cost me hundreds to have someone do nicely ran mechanic shop great air of integrity and to top it off they get you in and out !

Great people here. Very transparent about their work. Takes time to explain everything and won’t just take your money and try to fix things they aren’t confident will solve your issue. Highly recommend. I think this is my new mechanic.

DT's Garage is the only place in town that I trust to look at my car and give me an honest answer on the issue and what I need to do to fix it. They always explain exactly what the problem is, if I have different options to take care of it - short term, long term - and what they recommend to do.
Eloy and Eloy JR have run a consistently great shop for years now and I always know if I call them, my car will get fixed the right way! Thank you, DT's! Best shop in town every year. :)

Absolutely amazing people and great shop. These are the most up front and honest people I ever met. I was in Florida on a job and headed back to Texas and my truck broke down. In a day and a half Eloy and his crew had me back on the road. If you are in Florida and need any work or diagnoses done on your vehicle, this is the place I would go without hesitation!

Took my 2004 ford ranger to have an oil leek looked at. I suspected it was a rear main seal. Turned out take 5 oil change didn’t tighten my oil filter. This was after I took it back to take 5 a second time to make sure it was tight and was reassured it was. DT got two full turns out of the filter and now I am no longer leaking oil all over my truck and driveway. So don’t go to take 5 EVER!! and definitely go to DT’s garage for all automotive repairs. They explained everything really well and did right by me.
